This first of your charges, is a case in point: the Executive order for businesses of 100 or more employees, has already been announced, in principle; we have only been waiting for the lawyers to write it up nice & legal, for the challenges that are bound to follow it. That order will not mandate "vaccines, period." It mandates EITHER vaccines, OR weekly testing. So, based on the order, no one is being required to get a vaccine.

While it may well become the reality that some businesses will not offer the testing option, & will themselves, then, require vaccines, that is their doing, not Biden's. You might call this a slippery kind of only not technically a lie, except for the fact that this type of tricky, non-lie, is common practice in politics, particularly so on the Republican side, and especially of late. And, unfortunately for your case, I am sure you have, on multiple occasions, supported Republicans as not lying, based on just such "technicalities," much less have you ever faulted politicians on your ideological side, for being so "clever," in their wording. If I am wrong about this, all you need do is produce your posts to correct me, and I will readdress this issue, with an altered perspective (no tricky semantics in there; I will reappraise the implications given by Biden's "promise," in the same way you show that you have treated Republican practitioners of linguistic legerdemain). They are choosing not to take the vaccine although that's turning around and the death rate is dropping dramatically as more people are turning away from the death optional policies under Trump. They are seeing the necessity of the vaccine. . Trump constantly promoted mask and vaccines optional for his entire last term and had no problem with those who choose neither.. It's hard to convince the suspicious to do the right thing and avoid risky behavior but that is beginning to turn around. As I've said as we slowly turn away from the "death optional" policies under Trump and other politicians of his ilk and as the natural suspicions people have toward vaccines abate we are seeing dramatic cuts in the the death rate. But thanks for the rage statistics.

Daily Death tolls are more than double what they were a year ago under Trump when there were NO vaccines.

He only served one term. Biden's been President for going on ten months and there is no Federal Mask or Vaccine mandate, same as with Trump.

I remember my mother did home cooking and there were two recipes. One where you made a meal from fresh/new ingredients and the other were meals designed from the left overs of old meals. Even old bread had the mould picked off and put into a Bread and Butter pudding. We walked up town three to four times a week to by ingredients that was served up in paper and milk was delivered. No fridge so everything was sat on the stone slab in the pantry and milk bottles in a bucket of water. No such thing as frozen food. So very little litter and very little energy use but people scream at me to change my car to save the planet.

And as each day goes by, I find more and people who have had COVID, some vaxxed, many not and they're fine after a few days. A month or two when COVID first kicked off, I lost my taste for a few days, did I have COVID? I've been vaxxed because her indoors kept whining about it and I wrote to the doctors to take me off the booster jab list.

One thing is for sure, this COVID business has highlighted that many are pathetic and whiny.

 

So when we were paying half of what we are paying now that was a bad thing?
