Why not? What would you call it. It's a typical confusion and I betcha after the fallaciousness was first reported his advisers told him to NEVER bring it up again. But he gets up there and blathered on for 20 minutes about nothing to do with why he was there and about nonsense we've all heard before. All about HIM. I seriously tried to listen to it to hear what he had to say about his INFRASTRUCTURE PLAN. I even turned to anther channel and went back about 5 minutes later and he was talking AmTrak again.

 

I would call it a mystery. I think if senility were an issue, it would be evident in a lot more instances than him telling an obviously false story, at least in its details. He regularly demonstrates that he has no cognitive issues in his day-to-day work, however. You can't ignore everything else he says and does, point to a silly story he repeats, and claim that he's senile simply on that basis.

This whole senility thing is just a rehash of the same kind of propaganda we saw directed at Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election, when she was allegedly having seizures and ready to drop dead any minute. How anyone could be suckered in by the same exact crap twice in a row is beyond me. Shame on you.
