No it goes beyond that as you should have decided yes / no prior to the mandates - you had plenty of time. Now explain to me how avoiding your social responsibilities is adult and mature

Social responsibility to what? Prevent the spread of the virus? ...cuz the vaccine doesnt do that.

Yes. Got my two Moderna but don't think Ill do the booster thing or any series of Boosters St. Fauci requires in the future. I have never had one Flu shot. Guess I'll be fine. In America. people make choices. If you believe the vaccine works, you should not be concerned what others do.....that is unless you want to be a Nanny in a Nanny State!

No.... from what experts are saying it is terribly hard on our immune systems.....
and my immune system improved so much since 1999 that I don't want to throw it away for only a small amount of
protection for one specific virus... but then I am more vulnerable to many other threats.

I do NOT want to see a drop in my killer T cells, my cd8 cells.....
and I do not want to threaten everybody around me with spike proteins over the coming years....
just so that certain BigPharma companies earn not only billions. .... but actually trillions... in taxpayer money all around the world.

    Important Notice
medRxiv publishes preliminary scientific reports that are not peer-reviewed and, therefore, should not be regarded as conclusive, guide clinical practice/health-related behavior, or treated as established information.

we both said theory, right? i did so quite deliberately

...wouldn't you agree though that their study, while not conclusive, is a bit worrying and warrants further investigation asap?

Indeed; and there's nothing wrong with a healthy dose of skepticism. But the mindset of a conspiracy theorist leads them to usually making poor choices for sources of information ; some are prone to embrace any conspiracy theory that comes down the pike. I'm not into chasing them down rabbit holes.

It’s a social responsibility to be a test subject for an unapproved gene therapy?

I'm a rock-solid, right-wing economic Conservative, voted for Trump, twice, and badly miss the country we were during Ronald Reagan's presidency, every single damned day. THAT SAID, I'm full vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine, and in about another two weeks, I'll get the Pfizer 'booster'. For me, it ain't a matter of politics -- it's a matter of taking sensible, logical actions to counter the effects and the spread of a pandemic disease... period.

Put it this way... what would have happened if the world had turned its nose up at the SMALLPOX VACCINE after it was invented? :cynic:

Vaccines do not stop the spread of respiratory viruses. The vaccine doesn’t even start working until you are infected and producing the virus. That is why no country has stopped a spike in cases, even the most vaccinated countries.

Well, I'm not a doctor, and the information I looked up on the 'net seems to be a 'little-less' than completely conclusive, although the indications are that vaccinations do a great deal to stop the overall spread of respiratory diseases (like COVID). It's the most important question, though, of fundamental importance... so, @CenterField , what say you? "Dr. Center", as I refer to our fellow Forum member, is a very valuable source of reliable information on the COVID disease and its spread....

I'm getting the booster in any event, however. The first two Pfizer shots caused us no problems at all, and it's likely the booster won't, either. Besides, I do see a day coming, soon, when you're going to have to be fully-vaxxed to do almost anything associated with normal life (or, close to it).

They will not stop the spread but only possibly protect you from more serious consequences. There is even an algorithm for spikes in respiratory cases called Farr’s law.

Yes, there is general agreement from just about everybody that the vaccinations will, at least, protect a person from more serious consequences, including death. Even the prospect of a long, miserable stay in the hospital was enough to make me jump through a number of pain-in-the-ass 'hoops' here in Colorado to get the Pfizer vaccine shots last spring. Fortunately, getting the booster won't involve our local government's stupidity and misery that a number of us had to endure back then....

Vaccinations will add nothing to my immune system. I had covid long before vaccines were available and I've tested positive 7 times since for the antibodies. I've been exposed long term(all day within 3-4 feet) to 2 different people who later that day tested positive for covid with no sickness on my part. The vaccine has not been around long enough for me to trust it. They say that vaccines will increase my immunity, but that minimal increase isn't worth the risk for me. I even knew 2 people who died shortly after getting the vaccine. One from covid and the other from a stroke. It could be a coincidence, but I don't know.

People can call me an anti-vaxxer or flat earther, or whatever they want. I will not take a vaccine that has been rushed onto the market and the manufacturers of those vaccine have been relieved of all liability. I might have changed my mind if I had health issues and had not already recovered from the virus. My elderly parents took the vaccine and I'm good with their decision.

The mother is not the baby and the baby is not the mother. You are denying Proof of Identity.

The baby is not "potential". He/She already exists.
