    Gas prices are the highest they've been in 7 years and the propane millions of Americans use to heat their homes has reached a 10 year high.

    What's the reaction from the Biden Administration?

    Granholm's reaction was (obviously) taken completely out of context.
    And, as expected, this out-of-context remark is blown way out of proportion by RW Propaganda "Outlets" looking for any sort of "Hey Lookie, Biden Bad!" clickbait.
    Anything to feed the RW Daily Faux Outrage Machine.:bored:

    1) It is clear that Granholm was NOT laughing at thd high energy prices.

    2) Granholm was laughing at the NOTION that anyone could be so simple-minded as to think that there was anything that she could (personally) do about it.
    ^And, anybody actually paying attention to the context of Granholm's reaction KNOWS that.

    So, once again we have the EXPECTED:

    A RW Propaganda "Outlet" taking things out of context to feed Anti-Biden Faux Outrage.

    (PS--Just an Observstion:
    I am surprised that PF's Anti-Biden Contingent was do slow in bringing this "story" to PF.
    Usually, they are much quicker on the draw.
    This story was dated Nov.5th. (3 Days Ago).
    Usually "Hey Lookie Here! Joe Bad!" Out-of-Context Faux Outrage Pieces (of this nature) spawn Multiple Threads within minutes of hitting the web).

    Let them eat cake. Nice answer. How about returning to the effective and smart energy policies of the previous administration which made us energy independent so we don't have to worry about what OPEC does or doesn't do? I am not sure how one can claim her cackling was taken out of context. As a matter of fact, it appears that cackling is the sole coherent policy of the Biden Administration. Did they have a training in which Biden Administration spokespersons are instructed on how to cackle when asked about a policy that they realize is feckless and ungrounded in reality?

    nothing was taken out of context. I am deeply sorry that you feel that you must defend your Democrat vote.

    As soon as the question was posed, she rolled back and had a good belly-laugh.

    While the regular folk are paying more at the pump, more at the grocery stores and more to heat their homes, she thinks it funny that anyone would dare ask what is the plan of the Democrat administration to solve a Democrat created problem.

    I guess they do not view the struggles of the common folk as a problem.

    Democrat voters should be ashamed

    How is it possible that her cackling was taken out of context? Wasn't there a video showing an uninterupted segment of time in which she was asked a direct question and she provided a direct answer in length? The context was the question asked, Is it not? If not, what possible alternative context could there be?

    How can one possibly claim that the source material was a "RW Propaganda "Outlet"? The source came from Granholm's cackle hole, didn't it? The source was her own words and reactions. Whether this was aired on CNN or the Daily Caller, the ultimate source of this material is Jennifer Granholm.

    Jennifer Granholm is not just any person. She is the Energy Secretary. There absolutely is quite a lot she could do to lower energy prices. She could return to the common sense energy policies of the previous administration. After all, we were energy independent just over a year ago. Why aren't we energy independent now? What policy changes were made by the Biden Administration that ended energy independence?

    Perhaps those that feel Joe Biden is a terrible President, and that is roughly half of America, actually have lives so responding to threads over the weekend is less important than watching sporting events in which hundreds of thousands of people shout "Lets Go Brandon". God, I love this country!

    I just asked you the same question? How can you first state that we should go back to the "common sense" (whatever they could be) policies and then ask what changed?
    If you watch the whole video you see that the answer (and why she was laughing) is that the oil companies themselves have stopped production of oil. It's pretty simple to look up.

    When 47% of all likely voters strongly disapprove of the job the President is doing, then you have to start thinking something is wrong.

    And I am sure that there isn't a whole lot of people who want Trump back. He was rude, obnoxious, and abrasive. But the choices were obnoxious and competent and slightly more pleasant and senile. The election was like being buried up to your neck in cow dung and then having someone throw a bucket of snot at your head. You have a choice between two repulsive candidates.

    This is pretty easy and I thnk most people are aware of these policiy changes. Shutting down pipelines, ending mineral leases on Federal lands, using regulatory powers to ensure fracking is uneconomical. Did anyone believe waging a war on fossil fuels would not have consequences?

    Shutting down pipelines that weren't completed yet doesn't effect anything. Ending leases on Federal lands just preserves the land for the people to use rather than corporations to profit from when (if you watched the video) the oil companies aren't using the leases available to them anyway. There shouldn't be a "war" on fossil fuels because they are going the way of their origin. The time has come to face the fact that there is a finite amount of fossil fuels and we are close to that end. You think the consequences are bad now? Go ahead and continue as we are and see what happens.
