Certainly not applicable to this particular bill, because no R's will vote for it (but most will be taking credit in their districts anyway), but my favorite acronym of the fall is CWAG - Conservatives Who Accidentally Govern. I don't know how long that's been around, but it's the most accurate thing I've seen in politics in a long time. R's will vote for something (or against something) because of some mostly political reason, but every now and then, they do accidentally end up supporting something most people want or need. Naturally, they try and self correct after each "mistake" they make...

In other words: Republicans love tax cheats and don't want them to be caught. I don't know why they are AGAINST defunding the police, but FOR defunding the IRS. I'd say, fund both so they can stop the criminals.
