And, the English language facility of those who have come here may be fine for everyday use, but is not necessarily sufficient to understand our government communications, our health care, etc., in the detail that is clearly necessary. Besides, we have a major tourist industry that is damaged by any notion of intolerance of language.

And coming as it does after stating justifications for excluding US citizens of various descriptions, his suggestion of loyalty to the "American people" carries a strong odor of suggesting that there are citizens who are rightly to be excluded.

And again, that is just not acceptable.

 

Tactical nukes are the gateway drug to nuclear war. If we use those nukes, there is no possible justification for others not using theirs.

And, that is what makes it important for Iran and others to develop nuclear weapons.

Having America be proud of crafting a world of nuclear arms is moral depravity.

Let's say they used a small nuclear weapon to carefully eliminate the NYC financial district.

 

Other countries are not required to develop nuclear weapons. If they choose to do so, they are responsible for their own decisions. We are not to blame for what other countries decide to do.

But we were still doing it despite disliking it. We've been drawing down our nukes for some time now.

We are only starting to build our weapons back up because it is clear that foreign aggression makes it necessary.

The law is clear. The Non Proliferation Treaty forbids them from having nuclear weapons.

When WE claim to be creating more nukes for deterrence, we are setting a standard that others absolutely do have to consider.

Reducing the number of times we can kill all life on Earth is a "drawdown", but it is meaningless in terms of ANY rational perspective.

And, building more nukes IS an nuclear arms escalation at a time where we are doing little to promote other methods of conflict resolution. It is us preferring nuclear arms over negotiation.

We're also essentially in violation, as the pillars of the NPT include disarmament as the driving force and as the second pillar of the treaty.

Instead, we are escalating, as you point out.

The result is that those that don't have such weapons see the NPT as little more than a method of the haves working to maintain nuclear enforced supremacy.

This is ABSOLUTELY false. Their perpetual war against Gaza, running it as an open air prison, while refusing all negotiation has NO legitimacy.

Their ethnic cleansing of West Bank IS a humanitarian atrocity that is clearly carried out for financial benefit.

We are escalating nuclear arms, not diplomacy.

Yes - there is no line between tactical and strategic nukes when some nation starts using nuclear weapons of any size.

The point about NYC is in support of the absence of such a line.

If someone were to use a tactical nuke to wipe out the NYC financial district, we would NOT limit our response to tactical nuclear weapons. And, no other country would, either.

Their response might be limited in some way, but NOT because there is some line in size of weapons.

And, our decision to ONCE AGAIN use nuclear weapons would NEVER be forgotten throughout human history.

 

We were in Yugoslavia, in Syria when Obama armed the terrorists to (try to) remove Assad, and we were with the illegal 2014 coup in Ukraine. That's enough. You shouldn't swallow the fake news whole.

Russia will never invade the EU, unless the EU has invaded first, ala Nazi Germany.

The Cold War has been over for decades. Now, Russia is on the right path and we are not....at least not when the neo cons, RINOS and Democrats in charge.

 

Russia is taking a highly aggressive stance in Eastern Europe.

Our move to reenergize our nuclear arms development and manufacturing IS a cold war escalation.

The US right wing pushed hard to do what you call "arm the terrorists" in Syria. The problem there was that the locals had a significant number of militias, each with slightly different objectives. When we aided any one of them, the aid tended to get shared between the militias - some of whom we opposed. And, just about 100% of the fighters there were those from the region, not western forces.

No US political group had a superior solution for Syria. And, remember that Bush43 put Assad's government on the US "regime change" list in 2001. The problem got worse, obviously, but there was way more than a decade of the US not having an answer. In fact, there is no real answer today.

Our efforts have resulted in the Taliban owning Afghanistan and Iraq and Syria being strategically aligned with Iran.

 

Russia ain't doing ****. Let's put that to bed right now. Are the Russians sailing warships off the Texas coast in the Gulf of Mexico? Are the Russians arming the Mexicans or training the Mexicans? NO and NO.

But the US is sailing in the Black Sea just off Russia's coast....and the Black Sea ain't quite an easily accessible ocean either. The US is arming the Nazi-Led Kiev government that is in power because of the US led 2014 illegal coup. The Nazi-Led Kiev government is in the business of ethnic Russian genocide in the Donbass. You okay with your tax dollars funding Nazis??

I've been to Ukraine 6 or 7 times in the last 4 years and I've been to Russia 7 times as well. If you actually went there, then you'd see this for what it is. Ukraine is the armpit of Europe. Moldova is actually worse but Moldova isn't ripping off US taxpayers looking for free ****...that is funneled to corrupt oligarchs. Ukraine is.

Nobody said everyone wants to come here.

But the fact remains that tons of people risk their lives to get to the US and tons more are on waiting lists. There's a reason for it too.

It's also a fact that there aren't droves of people risking their lives to get out of this country either.

When you look at facts and facts only, they speak for themselves.
