I urge everyone to visit that website as I did and listen tomore of the interview. That one statement as represented above is taken totally out of context.

That's possible. I see it was 1hr 15 minutes long. I am not going to listen to something that long.
So, I'll agree it could be taken out of context.

Sounds good. No need to spill American blood. It seems Republicans are complaining about US NOT policing the world, after spending 4 years complaining about the US policing the world too much. A more principled approach would be far better, than this kind of flip-floppery. Now they are also drumming the war drums about Ukraine, as if we owed them something. We owe them nothing.

Yeah... we should wait until the whole world is overrun and we can meet them on our own turf... like maybe in the Bronx, Topeka and LA.

We need to make up our minds as a country. Are we the world's police force or not?

How would the whole world be over run? By Whom? And no other country will fight for their own turf?

It's one thing to be a police force, it's entirely something else when we become aggressors in overthrowing gov'ts of the world by war.

We take action when that action enhances or establishes national security. Its not difficult to understand.

Of course, that's an entirely subjective view.
Take the over throw of Iraq.

Sadaam supported and hosted terrorists and terrorist activities. We removed him. Fewer terrorists now. Good thing. Nothing subjective there at all. Very objective and logical.

Very subjective. I disagree with you completely.
It was a 20 yr mess over there. With many many terrorist activities after he was over thrown. Iraq became a breeding ground of terrorism.

We found Abu Abbas, the famous terrorist that killed Klinghoffer (remember him? Terrorists took over a cruise liner and threw an American in a wheelchair named Klinghoffer, overboard) in a luxury condo in Baghdad under Sadaam's care. And remember when Obama declared the Iraq war a success? (https://www.theguardian.com/world/2011/dec/14/barack-obama-iraq-war-success)
It was hardly a "breeding ground of terrorism". I spent two years over there. While it wasn't like Iowa, it wasn't anything like you say. Were you there?

Al Qaeda and ISIS ended up breeding there, did they not?
After Saddam was taken out. And our gov't we installed failed.

None of this has to do with Taiwan, so my last post on that.

When they're in Mexico or Canada, then I'd worry. We would also know then, how the other nations feel when we're on their borders and why they feel so threatened.

Trump says General Milley was an idiot for suggesting to him to abandon military equipment. Biden used Milley. Biden screwed up royally then pulled out after lying about not pulling out until all Americans were out.

Now you are left to try and make excuses for Biden’s screw ups. Sucks eh?

If China moves on Taiwan look for Russia to move on Ukraine. Two fronts and an extremely week president but let’s not forget, democrats most often get us into wars.

Call the agreement anything you like. No part of the agreement involved closing the last military base before every single American and qualified Afghan had left Afghanistan.

The MSM went wild condemning Russia for bombing the terrorists in East Aleppo and later Ghouta, even though it took them months out of a concern for human lives.

But when it came to us, the so called civilized west, we bombed Mosul and Raqqa into the stone age in 3 days. The thousands of bodies lay unburied for months so that the stench was unbearable. What makes it worse, is that we lied to the civilians in Mosul and told them not to leave because we had precision bombs.

If Russia moves on Ukraine without a forceful, international response, look for China to move on Taiwan.

Raqqa was ISIS' capital and Mosul was ISIS' largest city. You zero in on the negative but totally forget to mention why we bombed in the first place. Such bias really doesn't do much for your credibility. Where did you get your info regarding "thousands of bodies unburied for months"? And what has any of that to do with Russia? 3 days? Cool... love them JDAMS!

I think it's the other way around. When Russia invades Ukraine, which might be soon since there's no way the neo cons will accept Putin's demands, then China will take back Taiwan.

Russia does have an actual concern towards Ukraine and the people living there since they consider them Russians. There's also a major religious problem in Ukraine since the people want to remain under the Moscow Patriarchate and the churches were being forcefully taken away from them, so it's not just a political issue.

What Putin might do if Russia occupies Ukraine, is have each area hold a referendum so they can choose whether they want to become a part of a federated Ukraine where each area will be given special rights; or rejoin their original country. This would stand for the Russian, Hungarian, Romanian and Czech territories within Ukraine.

As for Galicia, it's a special case. Even in the 19th Century when there was talk of creating a Ukrainian nation, the Tsar said it would never work if Galicia is part of it. Leave it to Nuland though to put the crazies in charge.

Although Galicia was originally a part of Poland and they want the city of Lviv back, it's doubtful they would want the 'crazies'. Galicia is a poor state with nothing to offer other than Lviv, but if many of them were to immigrate to Canada where their relatives are living, then maybe Poland might accept taking it back. I'm just speculating.

I personally think this is the perfect solution for Ukraine, and it's kind of how Putin thinks, so let's see?

Sounds like Hitler discussing the annexation of Austria... or better yet... the partition of "German lands" in Czechoslavakia. Either way... it won't work out well.
