Florida surgeon general wants to start testing for covid only those who are at risk.
I’m a bit torn on this idea. From one point, I’d be afraid to miss out on early treatment options, on the other - the mass hysteria with covid certainly must stop.
What do you think?

 

I wonder if the Surgeon General is serving the interest of his citizens or serving the interest of his boss the Governor.

 

I'm a fan of Ladapo and DeSantis, but if they do not acknowledge in public that the PCR tests cannot detect infection, cannot distinguish between flu and Covid as the CDC recently acknowledged, this is not much more than lip service feeding the fears of the stampeded herd here in Florida.

As long as the herd insists on being tested by tests that cannot detect infection, the madness will continue. To conserve testing kits, one could say that Ladapo's move is smart, but it ignores the 800 pound gorilla in the room: THE TESTS DON'T WORK.

All the fear-mongering by Fauci and the media over two years has really strengthened the tendency.

 

They are embarrassed to admit the situation in Florida is out of control again, but if they cannot handle the volume, then what can you do.

Went to Costco yesterday, and the mask mandate was back on. 90% customers obeyed

 

You live in Dade county, the crucible of craziness in Florida.

 

Miami is ran by a Republican mayor, and they are considering mask mandates in the city, including outdoors. I live in Ft Lauderdale, just FYI. IMO Corporations like Costco can make decisions on their own

 

It’s against the law and they won’t be able to enforce it as cops won’t show up and escort out the unmasked.

 

Testing persons who are at low risk is, IMO, a waste of time. Regularly testing persons who are at high risk and testing persons who regularly come in contact with those persons is the best policy. Testing frequency should be a function of the degree of risk of the person at risk. Persons working at nursing homes who come into close proximity of high risk individuals should be tested daily.

 

He is serving those individuals who are at the most risk. High value testing should include those who interact regularly with high risk individuals.

 

And the several million dead worldwide has had nothing to do with anything.

People really don't like to die from an agonizing disease even if they have the FFRREEDOOMM to do so.

Now wait just a minute here..... Not a scant two days ago some of you liberals here were telling us that Florida doesn't care if you wear a mask or not.

You know when AOC showed up here without one.

 

It has to do with the well established fact that covid is deadly to those who are elderly and have some of the CDC preconditions regardless of age. It has to do with the failure to protect thise people and in some cases the failure of those high tisk people to protect themselves. And it has to do with policies which forced nursing homes to to accept back people who had been hospitalized and were still contagious. And it akso has to do with all ghe collateral damage done by lockdowns which did not stop ghe sorrad of covid.

 

Should Costco be obligated to make its decisions based on facts? Or should it follow the lead of Sotomayor and others and base its policies on superstition and ignorance?

 

Of course they will show up to remove customers who refuse to respect the rules set by the owners. Why wouldn't they?

I'll let you speak for the 'liberals'. I always find it dishonest when others speak on others behalf in order to misrepresent them.

There is no obligation. They can do whatever the heck they want. If they think people are more comfortable coming into the stores knowing everyone is wearing a mask, then it makes business sense. You wouldn't understand, because everything is about politics and conspiracies to you.

It does have benefits. For example, people who test positive should probably work from home until they are clear. In hospitals they need to know who is infected so they can take the necessary precautions.

 

If the tests cannot detect infection, what good are they?

What if the tests don't detect infection? What if they are unreliable and misleading?

What if we're just talking about a virus with a 99% survival rate?

How did this country ever survive and thrive without cold tests?

 

Plus PSR tests with cycles over 30 creates false positives which result in unnecessary quarantines.

 

The misused tests are the cornerstone of the Plandemic.
