And it’s a policy the left vehemently disagrees with, but that policy is fine for AOC when it’s party time.
I couldn't help being reminded of the following Steely Dan lyrics. At the Grotto In the greasy chair Sits the Charlie with the lotion and the kinky hair When she smiled, she said it all
That the COVID jabs seem to be just as ineffective as flu jabs are (and for a shared reason... namely that there are too many variants and we can't vaccinate for them all).
Incorrect. The vaccines protect against all known variants, but only insofar as preventing severe illness and death in the vast majority of cases, with exceptions tending to be among those with compromised immune systems. Flu vaccines have varying degrees of success for similar reasons, but you should be careful about drawing comparisons when talking about different kinds of viruses (influenza is not a coronavirus).
At best the mask guideline of the CDC says to wear it indoors in public settings. She wasn't indoors. So she complied with the law and the guidelines. I find it hard to believe that her opinion goes beyond medical guidelines and the law. The GOP is just salty. Must rip on a female colored Muslim who got an opinion.
people who appear to have no risk of dying from covid.... can still end up dying. Taking the vax increases the odds of survival against the newest types of covid viruses. True story.
It's all covid. I do believe the vaccine was made against the beta-version. I do believe the alpha went down fast. Never heard about the one after it, and then there was Delta from India that the UK imported to spread like crazy around the world... because their prime minster doesn't care one bit. And the vaccine was already there before delta.
Well I'm fully vaccinated and I wouldn't go to a crowded bar in an area with many unvaccinated. Her choice. I think given her political stance it wasn't a good idea.
Oh, I don't disagree with that.... Not a good move there.... You know the state motto: When in Florida, get out of Florida...

As long as you are footing the bill via your taxes, keep em coming. Thanks for the first three. When I got COVID I just had an insane headache for a day and was draggy a few days but that was probably from social distancing in my bed with nothing to do and nothing good on TV.
The only real problem there, is that you could be infected without knowing it before you entered that place, passing it on to unvaxxed people in that bar... potentially killing somebody.
Lol seriously bro? Their argument is “well other vaccines that aren’t mRNA vaccines and with a COMPLETELY different delivery method only cause issues within a few months of taking it”. And what the **** does that have to do with THIS vaccine that’s novel and has never been tested long term in humans? Moreover the idea that mRNA technology has been in research since the 60s is patently absurd. If it was ready for human consumption then why hadn’t they tested it in humans for any long term period for safety?
indeed. The only problem is that hospitals end up will with unvaxxed people, so there is no room for other people. An unvaxxed person on the ICU takes 2 to 3 weeks to pull through or die. That's twice as long as a person who had an open heart surgery. While others who need surgery, with just a tiny chance they might end up on the ICU for a day, won't get scheduled if there is no room on the ICU. They should do something about that. IMHO, as in a quota for unvaxxed in hospitals.
