Deaths are from vaers .. notice how much lower the risk from Covid is in Australia mate.

The death numbers in vaers are estimated to be low... so that is a conservative number = the actual risk of harm from the vax is much higher than the number calculated for you.

The point is that Omicron is super mild.

Huge difference .. Now tell me what the annual death rate in Australia from Flue/Pneumonia -- guessing it is around 15-20/100,000 I used 23 in my local region - as that was the 2018 rate .. arguably a bad flue year .. others being 18 .. but . we should be comparing this to a bad flue right ?

Now remmeber 116 is per million - so 11.6/ 100,000. half the normal annual rate. but - Covid been raging for 2 years now .. so you have to divide your number by half to get an annual death rate from covid = what .. 6 .. .. not exactly bubonic plague now is it .. 25% of the normal death rate from flue-pneumonia.

Context matters aye mate.. when you put context to the numbers ..think Auzziland can claim a win .. and open up immediatly - or worst case as soon as this Omicron wave starts to subside .. which should be fairly soon .. mind you .. could be a bit longer in AUS because not many folks have had covid there ... let Omicron roll through is probably the best option from a scientific perspective

as opposed to going into full lockdown - depending on hospital capacity .. if that is looking shaky .. might want to go full lockdown for a few weeks .. then open up letting it rock through the population.

Well we don't know how many people in ANY country has had COVID. Isn't it the case that for all we know, everyone who has not had symptomatic COVID, has had asymptomatic COVID.

Actually we have a fair idea in many countries .. Forgot how long ago .. was at least 6 months .. India was at ~60% .. this stuff just ripped through non first world nations .. their done .. North America ..with Omicron .. is crazy .. already a fair number had Delta or previous varient .. at least 30 % Omicron is blasting through so fast they can't test .. already anothing 30% or close to it.. So .. were getting there..

Not sure why they don't do testing in North America .. you can test a sample .. and extend that to the whole population .. but they don't do this .. least not what I have seen .. think they would want to have an more accurate estimate ... but that would just support the herd immunity crowd now wouldn't it

Total deaths reported to VAERS are not deaths caused by vaccines. They are reports, period. Anyone can report, and health care professionals are required to report, regardless of whether they do, or do not, think the death had anything to do with the vaccine.

These reports are investigated and of 11,225 reported to date, only 9 have been found to have a causal relationship to vaccines - that's 0.0000036% of the total number of people who've had at least one dose.
