    When you watch this video, it's still hard to believe that this happened in America. And even harder that it was a sitting President who orchestrated the Coup.

    It shows you that ANY nation is vulnerable and could turn into a dictatorship overnight.

    I did not realize that it had been proved that he orchestrated the coup. In fact, since Biden is president, I did not realize there was a coup.
    I did not realize that we were turned into a dictatorship overnight, unless you were referring to January 20, 2021.

    There was no such insurrection, there'll never be an insurrection in the US. What we have is a lame duck regime in under 9 months using propaganda to scare its citizens.

    An 'insurrection' that lasted all of two hours, the Congress's work resumed and order was restored. Yet we had the quasi-police state for a while at the capitol in 2021 and this month's political festivities to 'honor' the occasion. If Trump had done any of these propaganda efforts while President, people would be shouting out at Trump for what a Putin-style state Trump is creating.

    It lasted months if you count the time it took to prepare. But I have no idea how long it lasted is of any relevance to the fact that it was an insurrection.

    We should never forget the day in which our democracy was almost overturned. Because, if we forget, it could happen again. And there are already maneuvers preparing for more in the future.
