My posts are public, everyone can read them, including you. That's not "gossiping".

Your source is full of logical fallacies and factual inaccuracies, it would take me hours to debunk them all. I know that you'll dismiss my arguments without bothering to understand them. Answering your posts is like throwing rocks at the moon.

@chris155au here's a perfect example of anti-Israel, woke-left media bias. Unsurprisingly, the example comes from CNN, in an article about the decision of the Periodic Review Board to clear a number of Guantanamo detainees for release.
    https://edition.cnn.com/2022/01/11/politics/guantanamo-detainees-cleared-for-release/index.html

This "nothing to see here folks" approach to the release of a terrorist who helped plan and execute two nearly simultaneous terror attacks against Israeli tourists in Kenya, targeting an Israeli airplane and a hotel, is an insult to the memory of the thirteen innocent victims and their families.

    https://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/20...ist-linked-chanukah-murder-daniel-greenfield/

The good news - for CNN - is that it can only get better from this point on, because it already hit bottom.

    Look Pisa,
The real world is full of international bigotry.
It is also full of propaganda, carefully constructed lies, personal experience and stupidity.
But it isn't all directed against Israel or Jews!
China "reeducates" the Uighars because of their faith.
Trump tried to keep Muslims out of the USA but had to rescind that.
The UK is suggesting breaking international law when it tries to keep out those who have nothing left after they were bombed out of their homes, but hope. (often BTW bombed by the UK).
    mon
All over the world people are persecuted for many reasons...sexuality or faith being among the most common.
Yes we know Jews have been the target of many who, for one reason or another, have persecuted them to a greater or lesser extent and we also know that some tiny number of individuals still would like to.

BUT NOT BY ANY MEANS A LARGE NUMBER.

This continual hum among some Jews and encouraged by Netanyahu, which makes Jews the victims of global history so they are entitled to do whatever they want, just doesn't hang with me.

It doesn't surprise me that a terrorist attacks Jews...because they also attack anyone walking across a bridge in Central London, children going to a concert, people going into and out of a hospital. All in the UK.

Playing the victim cars make accusations of antisemitism so easy. It is NOT some damning heinous accusation that rocks the world and ensures eternal damnation...it is yet another example of bigotry, race hatred and gross propaganda , which also happens in other places.
Yes the systematic suppression of an entire faith in Europe was terrible. Believe me, I know. Hitler etc were madmen unfettered by what is now international law and lessons deeply learned. But no one has to keep apologising and attacks against Jews are just one in a global series of terrorist attacks. Not more or less hideous.
We are asked to be aware of attacks on Jews and wring our hands in the name of antisemitism, but are you aware of the 22 children killed in the UK by a terrorist in a concert foyer in May 2017?

    You are not special, OK?

Well, see for yourself by clicking the link below. Is the synagogue hostage story smaller news than Novak Djokovic being kicked out of Australia, or Democrats having issues with passing federalised voting laws?

I'm sorry for any confusion but I must have misunderstood your question: "Does this assume that the AIPAC lobbying was the critical difference between using force in Iraq and not?"

To be perfectly clear, I do not believe that the US would have attacked Iraq without the pressure of AIPAC and the numerous other Right Wing Israeli lobbies.

Under the Symington - Glenn amendment, Israel is not supposed to get any foreign aid because it is not a signatory to the NPT (Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty)(1) but somehow it manages to extort hidden $ Billions every year from naive Americans.

    (1) "Lawsuit Claims Aid to Nuclear Israel Illegal Under Symington Glenn Amendments"
    https://www.corporatecrimereporter....ael-illegal-under-symington-glenn-amendments/

EXCERPT "A lawsuit filed in federal court in Washington, D.C. claims that United States aid to Israel is illegal under a law passed in the 1970s that prohibits aid to nuclear powers that don’t sign the Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty (NPT).

Such aid violates longstanding bans on foreign aid to non-signatories to the Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty (NPT) with nuclear weapons programs, the lawsuit alleges."CONTINUED

Israel so controls the US and even some state governments that in 20+ states there are laws against boycotting Israeli products.

In September 2001 a dual Israeli-US citizen and ordained rabbi named Zakheim was comptroller of the Pentagon.

You omitted the first statement that indicates the degree to which Israel's Right Wing and its Right Wing lobbies control the US Government and US Mid East Policy.

Are there any other countries one is prohibited from boycotting in those 20+ states?

Smith says that the administration has three legal avenues to deal with a nuclear Israel under the Symington and Glenn amendments – either cut off foreign assistance, change the Symington and Glenn amendments to exempt Israel, or just grant a waiver.

Such Symington and Glenn waivers have already been granted to two other countries in a similar position – Pakistan and India, Smith said.

India has not signed the NPT. And yet they have recieved $65 billion in aid from the USA. India is a nuclear state.

Pakistan has not signed the NPT. And yet they have received $78.3 billion in aid from the USA. Pakistan is a nuclear state.

Whatever aid other countries may have received pales in comparison to what Israel has extracted from America over the decades only Israel is not really an ally.

It steals US secrets and sells them to the highest bidder; most recently China.

Before that, Jonathan Pollard stole US Secrets for Israel worth $ Billions and sold them to the former USSR.

Do you want more examples of Israeli betrayals?

The intelligence agencies didn’t go into specifics, the former aide said, but cited “industrial espionage—folks coming over here on trade missions or with Israeli companies working in collaboration with American companies, [or] intelligence operatives being run directly by the government, which I assume meant out of the [Israeli] Embassy.” CONTINUED

its true, $146 billion is a lot of money in aid.

however, the Saudis are surely not our real friends, and we help them a lot. Meanwhile they assisted Al Qaeda attack us on 9-11, after we saved them from Saddam and then protected them for 7 years.

    no word from you.

Pakistan gave refuge to Osama Bin Laden. We gave them $78 billion since 1978.

    no word from you.

seems you're not really concerned about tons of aid being given to nations who end up betraying us, or not working in our interests.

if you were, you'd be talking about the Saudis and the Pakistanis

Never said it was. The topic though is biased reporting on Israel and Palestine. Choose any other country, I'll find the bias. There's always a bias somewhere.

Yep. But China is still a member of the UNHRC.

China also illegally occupies Tibet since 1950. How many UN resolutions against China? Where's the UN special agency for Tibetan refugees? Where's the international divestment-boycott-and-sanctions-against-China movement?

Did you know that Taiwan was kicked out of the UN at China's request? Well, you know, China being UN's second biggest donor...

No, he didn't. He tried to keep citizens of certain countries out of the USA, but citizens of other countries who happened to be Muslims could travel to the US.

I find it hard to decide who's worse - Trump or Biden. The Texas synagogue terrorist was able to enter Biden's US despite his criminal record.

I think Brexit was a mistake, but I'm also aware that the famed international law is not on the illegal immigrant's side on this particular issue. Read the damn law.

There's also the not so insignificant matter of national sovereignty. International law is not supposed to violate national sovereignty.

Do you have some statistical data on the matter?

Antisemitism made it into the mainstream in UK, for instance, with Jeremy Corbyn and his merry fellows. It's very mainstream in Ireland, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Algeria, Pakistan (children are taught in religious schools that Jews are not human beings), Iran, and other places.

Antisemitism is the only thing the far right and the far left have in common.

You'll have to prove this "entitled by Netanyahu" stuff.

Would you say that racism and discrimination toward members of the African-American community are not important because other groups around the world suffer racism and discrimination too?

The fact that other people are attacked too doesn't diminish or excuse antisemitic acts and attitudes.

Bigotry and racism toward other ethnic or religious groups don't diminish or excuse antisemitic acts and attitudes.

And yes, I am special. I'm unique. Every individual in this world is special and unique, every ethnic group is special and unique, every culture is special and unique. Each is special in a particular way.

I hope you did actually understand my post to which you reply here.
Antisemitism of course exists , as does islamophobia, race hatred, misogyny, sexual abuse, infanticide and even satanism.
My argument is th at whenever someone remarks negatively about what Israel, he state, is doing or has done, there is a chorus of "that is antisemitic" with the underlying message that you are a worthless sinner who automatically supports Nazi ideologies.
Please don't tell me it isn't true...I have been around message boards and discussion groups long enough to know it IS true..
What that means is that criticism of Israel equals criticism of Jews and on fact the UN was forced to define antisemitism to avoid such lazy equivalencies.
During the last 75 or so years Israel has justified its unacceptable behaviour by both repeating that Palestine wants to erase Israel, and that as Jews they have a right that no other faith has, due to their history both recent and way back.
and these arguments have justified Israel's continual "erasing Palestine from the face of the earth" Zionist agenda. An excellent lesson in irony.

There may well be antisemitism in the Labour Party. I condemn it. Today a Muslim MP has accused the Tory party of Islamophobia (sic) and I condemn it if it is true.
No instance or reason for bigotry is acceptable. But IMO, Israel and some Jews have used it to secure special status, and play the victim card.

Most all Mid East watchers and American policy makers already know that Israel has about the 6th largest illegal arsenal in the world but the Israeli government forbids any American President from mentioning it.

In another example of Israeli control over the US, each American President must sign "the letter"(1) promising that he will neither mention nor pressure Israel regarding Israel's illegal nuclear arsenal.

Unfortunately, the NY Times has the same pro Israel bias as most all Western MSM so that very few people are aware that not only is Israel's Right Wing government not an ally, its innumerable betrayals and relentless spying makes it one of America's most treacherous adversaries.

Journalists blast NY Times for pro-Israel bias and “grotesque” distortion of illegal occupation of Palestine”

It often uses euphemistic language to describe Israel’s illegal activity, dubbing lands unlawfully seized by Israel in violation of international law “disputed” territory.

Before I answer your post, I need a proper definition of "Palestine". What is the definition you use?

UN never defined antisemitism. The working definition of antisemitism is here:

No, that's not what I'm saying, even though I think that the Mombasa terrorist shouldn't see the light of day again.

CNN is presenting the terrorist as a victim. No mention whatsoever of the dead and injured in the attack he helped plan and execute. No mention of the attempt to bring down an Israeli airplane with over 200 people on board. Well, CNN can't afford itself to say something nice about Israelis while making Biden look bad, can it?
