This shows you either have no clue what @Pixie was saying or you're deliberately misrepresenting her comments.

I never mentioned that anyone sells drugs.
I deliberately didn't take up his strawmanning.
FB has mentioned it though in some effort to stereotype and defame Black people.

It's your story you tell it however you want.

How about you tell us what it is you said then?

    Something you might think about:

"Top 10 Countries with the Highest Quality of Life - U.S. News Best Countries Report 2021
    1. Canada
    2. Denmark
    3. Sweden
    4. Norway
    5. Switzerland
    6. Australia
    7. Netherlands
    8. Finland
    9. Germany
    10. New Zealand
The U.S. News and World Report's annual "Best Countries Report", assembled in partnership with the BAV Group and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, uses detailed surveys to track a similar, but different set of indicators. These include affordability, safety, the job market, level of income equality, economic and political stability, and the quality of public education and health systems."

Europeans on the whole have much more respect for public space and don't allow business to build what they like.

For every person with a 125 IQ there is someone at 75 IQ. Think about it.

Indeed. Part of the reason Italians live an average five years longer than Americans.

    That collective authoritarianism.

You should question why the systems you desire required forced participation rather than voluntary.

Trying to defend it because the majority want it does not excuse the authority or force. There will ALWAYS be people that stand to gain more than others in these types of forced systems.

Look at where we are now. People that are sustained through social programs that contribute far less to the collective than others. It will always be an unfair and corrupt system, further corrupted by politicians using these programs to buy votes. It perpetuates a decline in society through failure to promote individualism and self reliance and sustainability.

Let's stick with social programs as that really is the topic that most have an issue with.

At what point do you blame the people who are unemployed for their lot?

You might have to get vaccinated against covid or live life in the slow lane.

It's really a damn shame your freedom is being stripped away after 900,000 covid deaths.

What you do and don't value is of inconsequence to that of others.

I don't want to live in an 800 SF flat with 4 other people, riding my bicycle to work, pretending I am better off because I have healthcare and education taken from 50% of my paycheck. That is not desirable to me.

Trying to minimize my perspective based on the cultural assumptions of people where you live serves nothing.

I could spin that around and say that people accustomed to your way of life have normalized living under the rule of an oppressive government far too involved in your life that you are incapable of understanding true freedom.

I think that it's an atrocity that your country has made it financially infeasible to own a car... even for those who desire it. I couldn't imagine simply accepting that authority and then proclaiming everybody who isn't under the boot of your government "Just doesn't understand" or doesn't value collective authority.... you're right, I don't. I think its an absolute atrocity to anybody that supports the idea of freedom.

Social engineering through legislation and authority to control individual outcomes sounds like believing government is your nanny. No thanks, I'm an adult.

Show me a pool of 100 people without insurance and I will show you 98 people with a car payment, cell phone, nails and hair done weekly, and a subscription to netflix. You know it, I know it, everybody knows it.

Further, lack of health insurance does not equal lack of access to care.

Anybody can walk into any emergency room and get the care they need regardless of their ability to pay.

As you know, Denmark is not socialist. When you in any way acknowledge their idiotic idea it might be, you encourage stupidity.

Does it ever occur to you that people need to be held responsible for their lot in life?

The problem is, as has been made apparent here multiple times, is that individuals are all victims to outside influences. It's never the persons character, actions, history that makes for people to be responsible.

The number of people who truly need assistance is much lower than the number of people utilizing assistance. Even the excuses you provide are largely self dictated.

Why is personal responsibility such a foreign concept?

Sorry, that didn't change my mind. There are some countries on that list that I wouldn't want to live in because of quality of life. Opinions are a dime a dozen. You and I have a bunch of them.

I am not picky, and not dependent what kind of 'quality of life' the country / government can offer, I create it myself. As a matter of fact I lived in Africa for 5 years and had a great time and their country / government had nothing to do with it. They didn't even have TV stations.

Thank you. No question that we are responsible for our own quality of life.

... pressured Canada to make concessions as part of NAFTA 2.0 that would increase prescription drug prices.
