God is the creator, you are just His creature. He is eternal, existing outside of time and space, you just strut around for a short time on earth, acting as if your opinion is important.

The dust on top of my monitor has more of tangible effect on this world than God in all his allegedly infinite power and wisdom does. He may or may not exist, but one thing is absolutely certain. This world functions without his involvement. So yes, the opinions of human beings are more important no matter how short our life spans are because our opinions, even down to the lowest of us, are more tangible and effectual to this world than God.

I've long maintained if the GOP could ditch the God Squad, they'd win every election. I want reasonable tax rates, I want to drive whatever damn vehicle I want, I want to keep my guns. None of my business if Bob and Stephen down the street want to be as misreable as any other married couple... At the heart of American values is the brand of classical liberalism now known as libertarianism and states that human liberty is something worth defending. The way you do that is by carefully balancing competing interests dispassionately, impartially, and always erring on the side of the freedom our forebearers died for.

 

Every single attempt at implementing libertarianism has always been a complete and utter FAILURE!

Even the Founding Fathers dumped libertarianism in the garbage and opted for our Constitution instead.

In most instances, Democratic support is centered around cities and suburbs where there is higher population and population density. Population and population density are two major factors in the spread of highly contagious disease. One would expect these areas to be hit harder.
