Rep. Eric Swalwell suggests “kicking every Russian student” out of U.S. universities

Following this interview, people took to Twitter by responding to and retweeting Fox News’ post which read, “Eric Swalwell floats kicking Russians out of US universities in retaliation to Putin invading Ukraine.”

Anyone who is for such an action surely forgets how we treating our Japanese family and friends during WWII. Horrible idea, but as usual, this is normal from the left.

Again, why are we still buying 500,000 barrels of oil from Russia, but want to evict Russians that have nothing to do with Putin's stupid war??

These are terrible hot takes based on emotion. This war was avoidable and predictable. We should lay part of the blame to those who would egg it on.

Putin's War is strongly opposed by hundreds of thousands of decent & ethical Russians who are staging protests, signing petitions, quitting their government jobs etc.

As you might guess, actively protesting in Putin's Russia takes far more guts than protesting in the US where arsonists, vandals and looters are pampered to an obscene degree.

Oh no I’m sure you’re upset at how the right is being portrayed as Putin supporters. And I’m certain you have never ever said that Biden and left wingers are evil communists or in Chinas pocket. But if you are not going to call someone out for doing something wrong because it happens to be someone on “the same side as you”? Then there is hypocrisy of the highest regards. And your actions while small are still exemplary of blatant partisan thinking.

 

I agree. Some of them even have the support of a political party who thinks a coup attempt is “legitimate political discourse”.

Ya...it's fairly hard pressed to defend these REAL problems as "situations" out of control of the most powerful office in the world.

There was no coup attempt

 

Those Japanese were US citizens (which it why it was controversial) and they were arrested and placed on prison camps because Japan had attacked the US and a war had been declared against Japan. We also detained 11 000 German Americans as a precaution. The Russian students are not citizens and no one is suggesting arresting them, but kicking them out of the country. They are citizens of a nation whose leader is threatening the West, including the US, with nuclear weapons. This has nothing to do with left and right, but about taking pre-cautions, and I think many on the right would agree with the suggestion.

Who will you blame if one of them commits an act of terror against the US because he thinks it was a patriotic thing to do for mother Russia? Will you step forward and admit you championed for them to stay?

I know pseudo-conservatives are meant to oppose anything and everything form the Dems, but you can at least try to see both sides of the coin on some issues before rushing in to defend Russia on every issue.

That's good, but not all are against it. Look at the Russian posters on this forum. None of them speak out against Russian aggression, and all of them spare no argument to criticize the US. All it takes is for one of those Russian students to blow up a bunch of Americans.

Biden's admitted he has handlers for crying out loud. He's referred to them more than once during his press conferences.

 

So you have said he has handlers before. That he’s so mentally incompetent that he needs other people to rule for him. Have you ever defended Biden, and told other people off for insulting him in a way you disagree with?
