I can only look through my own eyes. I am not defending this dumba$$ thug; just comparing his sentence with others I support keeping violent people inprison. As far as child endangerment, many illegal immigrants drag their children across the desert or send them with coyotes, and there is no outrage over child endangerment. We also see light sentences for sex offenders and violent criminals being released only to commit more violent crime.

I never said tRump told the National Guard to stand down; I said, "On tRump's orders the National Guard was "held in reserve". As the following articles support, tRumps concern was that the Guard be ready to protect his supporters, not the Capitol.

The above articles also support the fact that the Guard was 20 minutes away and ready to act, not 24 hours or even 1 hour out; but their deployment was held up in red tape.

If you could demand a speedy trial, and your case would be dismissed if they didn't provide it, you got the idea that no attorney on the planet knew about it but somehow you did?

The protection afforded by the speedy trial guarantee of the Sixth Amendment is activated ONLY when a criminal prosecution has begun and extends only to those persons who have been accused in the course of that prosecution.

A speedy trial isn't the time to get to trial, its the time the trial will take. But you do make me laugh out loud.

Defendants have the right to slow walk the trial to prepare themselves more fully, likewise the prosecution just must show any delay has a legitimate, reasonable, legal purpose.
For instance: If the Court can't set the trial on the docket for a year because the court system is backed up, there is no delay being caused that can be motioned against.

But according to the article in the OP they introduced as evidence by prosecutors at trial, the defendant’s own son who testified against him who stated they would be traitors if they reported his actions, and that traitors get shot. Thats not a direct threat to kill his son. But is does give the left something to twist into what they want it to say.

If I made that same statement on PF does that mean I'm going to shoot someone on PF? As I remember the left never had any problem making those statements about Trump or anyone in his cabinet. Funny how that works.

Thats not the issue. The issue is a backlogged court system thats leaving pretty much everyone without a speedy trial. The problem specific to the Jan 6ers is, unlike everyone else, they've been denied bail and many are being held in solitary confinement while they wait on the backlogged court system.

2) ^ That's a direct threat. IF you do X you're a traitor, and traitors get shot, therefore if you do X I will shoot you. QED.

3) No threat you could make here would be imminent unless you could show you actually knew the real identity of the poster you were threatening. Here, he knows the identity of the person he's threatening, and lives in the house with them. A threat to shoot them if they talk, because traitors get shot, is a direct threat.
