I'm sure China is just itching to invade Taiwan with a united West. They have been put on alert any funny business from them in the future with respect to Taiwan will be met with harsh sanction and full embargos.

You are living in a fantasy world. What does the West make? Tell me. What tangible goods... Luxury cars in Germany, and some tech services in the US?

Some people think this is still 1953 and Ike is in office and we are producing half the world's goods. We are weak and have no tangible longterm wealth. China could call our debt and crash the whole thing and still supply the world. Tread lightly.

Not sure about Mike .. but the claim of war crimes is a massive joke having no veracity.

Its a joke bacause you have the worlds biggest war criminal .. calling another leader out for being a war criminal .. in another spat of "Do as we say- not as we do" foreign policy.

...sorry I'm obviously being thick but can you elaborate a little...who is calling whom what? Also, why would name calling be an impediment to the laying of any particular charges at the Hague should the discovery process find that war crimes had been committed?

So you think it's likely he'll be deposed? Not the way I'd bet but OK.

It would never get as far a draft. I think we would be radioactive ash before then.

Right. And in a non-nuclear war against Russia we would annihilate Russia’s incompetent army with what we’ve already got. No need for a draft.

No worries .. be happy to. I am referring to Biden Calling Putin a War Criminal -- Pot calling kettle black in action .. except that Biden is the far greater Pot .. and the USA in general but need not go back further than the Biden-Obama years .. one case already been tried .. the war crimes - crimes agaisnt humanity in Yemen for which were were tagged by the ICC.

but that is small fry in compared to Syria .. where as Yemen was merely "complicity in war crimes" For Syria these clowns are full on guilty.. on many counts .. not just war crimes but violating international law up the yang ..

Biden's name calling would not be an impediment .. .. not sure why you would figure that . but US and NATO conduct in the recent past is a huge impediment. .. this "Do as I Say - not as I Do" foreign policy which challenges the very validity of the Hague.. UN.. ICC every process requiring some kind of global concensus ..

I heard Russians "fragging" their officers, but unlike in Vietnam, they do not use fragmentation grenades to kill them, but simply steer their tanks and run over the officers.

Good work corporal, - good work.

Russian soldier 'drives a TANK over his commanding officer to protest the huge number of losses they have suffered', Ukrainian journalist claims
    • According to Roman Tsymbaliuk, Colonel Yuri Medvedev was run over by a tank
    • Tsymbaliuk, a Ukrainian journalist, said the tank was driven by a Russian soldier
    • He claims the soldier was protesting heavy losses suffered by the tank unit

They don't get it Mike. What is shocking is the Conservatives are now supporting the same governments and media that have already destroyed the West internally and lie to them. Let me get this right... You don't trust these people when it comes to anything else, but when they beat the war drum over Ukraine you fall in and march along with no questions asked? Even Germany said it won't stop buying Russian energy due to the consequences... What the hell are our "leaders" doing?

Germany won't stop immediately because they can't, but they will once they have workable alternatives available.

This is why you should consume trustworthy media. You'll have a better idea of what is actually happening in the world.

Trustworthy media? Who is that these days? Lol. The media is polled lower than Congress...

I don't get my analysis from media. I get it from the facts. I don't need Chuck Todd or the New York times to tell me what my opinion should be.

Public opinion does not tell us what is true and what is not, so I don't care how the media polls.

You can't get your analysis from "the facts" if you don't know what they are, George, and you don't have direct access to the facts any more than I do. We have to rely on some source to report them to us. You're relying on some alternative and assuming that it is more trustworthy than the media you're complaining about, but how do you go about verifying your source?

Conservatives are not running US policies regarding Ukraine and Russia, that would be the further left than we thought, American Left

You take information from every side and draw a conclusion. I am a conservative, but in fact I spend more time consuming NPR and NBC than I do any other media source. I seek out all forms of media from around the globe to form an opinion. The New Yorker, Der Spiegel, DW, NBC, NPR, WSJ. In this case a lot of academics... MY opinions are my own. Question everything...

But it would be OK for countries without nukes to do it?

Well no .. but it is worse for the nuke nations to do it. Which is why Kosovo should not been annexed .. Iraq invaded .. War in Syria .. and so on .. bad prededent .. "Do as I say - Not as I do" foreign policy coming back to bite - as was foretold by the Prophet.
