    Well, you're Canadian.

If you were an American you would know otherwise.

Whether you realize and/or acknowledge it or not, his (and his party's) failing economic policies are largely responsible for his nosediving approval numbers, but of course, they're not the only reason. His (and his party's) domestic and foreign policies have pretty much been a failure all across the board.

Another thing that's notable about his lousy approval numbers is that he has little support beyond the LW/DP base. He's lost the middle and Independents, and just as Democrats for killed in Virginia last year they're probably going to get killed in this year's midterms.

As for Brandon, he's one-termer who'll be remembered for setting the land speed record to lame duck status in a mere 7 months. His failed presidency was toast after he totally f*cked up the withdrawal from Afghanistan.

And everyone knows (if they're not stupid) that set the stage to invite Russia to invade Ukraine.

The whole world was watching and it sent a message that America would not defend its interests overseas. (Of course now it's too late for Russia to stop the conflict)

Do YOU remember "No new taxes"? Bush41 renigged on his promise of no new taxes by making an agreement to accept some of the Dem tax rate increases and in return THEY would pass budget CUTS. Instead the increased spending and ran up the deficits and there was a recession with the new tax rates. And Regan requested LESS spending than Congress authorized each year and Congress refused to pass the spending recessions he sent them. Why do you place budget responsibilities entirely on who is President that is folly.

They have disproportionate minority populations which are disproportionately poor across the nation.

That it is just as important as to which party controls Congress too, it's not just a matter of who is President.

Those are jobs recovered and restarted in the recovery he rode into office, we are still lagging in net jobs.

93% of West Virginia residents are white.

87% in Kentucky, 78% in Tennessee, 77% in Arkansas, 75% in New Mexico, 73% in Oklahoma...

    Find something else.

    You can do it.

Except that unfortunately, when a Democrat POTUS is in power, more jobs are created.

It took Biden only one year to get the economy back on track.

    That's the reality.

Don't forget Manchin comes from West Virginia, a Democrat who votes more like a Conservative.

West Virginia has always been poor, remote cut-off by mountains, rural, former coal mining area.

West Virginia isn't exactly "Republican" in the same sense as other places. They would actually support many Democrat policies, so long as they were allowed to keep their personal independence.

You can't put water back behind a collapsed dam.

From the outset, Trump denied that the pandemic was dangerous, as did several pundits on the right.

This misleading propaganda resulted in 12x more conservatives than liberals refusing to be vaccinated and therefore overrepresented in the death toll.

This is Trump's legacy.... before he throws his MAGA's on Capitol Hill.

De Blasio said the virus only hurts old people, so come to New York and ride the subways. Pelosi told people to visit China town. And democrats everywhere allowed infected illegal aliens to come into the country.

The US has by far the worst per capita record in the G20.

    A disgrace.

If Trump had taken the threat seriously instead of clowning around, thousands of lives would have been saved.

Ya well. The US also has an obesity problem which was ripe for covid to prey victim on as well as a corrupt medical system that just loved over representing covid deaths for the bling bling.

What did the left do to stop infected illegals from coming here? Even now Biden is using midnight flights to sneak them around the country.

    A corrupt medical system....

It's ironic that you should mention it.

Because the US is one of the last countries in the West without a universal health care system.... and also has the highest number of deaths per capita from the pandemic.

But well, there is surely no connection.

There are over 200,000 fast food joints in this country, the corrupt medical system didn’t put them here or keep them filled with customers. I’m not going to comment on who are the most obese among us because pointing out facts around here gets people in trouble. Instead I’ll just post what Google gave m

    Records:
    Characteristic Obesity rate
    White 30.2%
    Black 42.4%
    Hispanic 35.9%
    Asian/Pacific Islander 13.2%
    American Indian/Alaska Native 37.1%
    Other 30.5%

Even if Trump was in power, even if he did everything to discredit the scientists in his own public health department, even if right-wing pundits didn't believe in the danger of the virus, even if Republican governors thwarted measures put in place to reduce the risk of transmission, even if the 45% of conservatives refused to get vaccinated, it's still the Democrats' fault that 1,000,000 Americans died....

    And Trump won the election...

I hope you aren't finding advantages in having a universal system..... like all the other most advanced countries on this planet.

You aren't a communist after all....

Trump is only responsible for what Trump did. The left wants to make Trump responsible for what they did, Pelosi and de Blasio are perfect examples.

The Democrats have brought about the return of the Soviet Union, stagflation, and gas lines, and piled an immigration crisis on top of it.

It goes down to the state level too. New York's economy still hasn't returned to pre-pandemic levels.

It most certainly goes down to state levels, and that is why Virginia flipped from Blue to Red last November.

Spare me your pathetic attempts to apology for the massive Bush Deficits. Was 12 years of Red fiscal irresponsibility .. and yes Blue helped .. the laughable nonsense here that you are trying to shift the Red responsibility to Blue ... as if the President and Red congress was totally helpless to stop the Blue spend.

Virginia flipped from blue to red because the idiot dem who was running declared parents should take a back seat in raising their children to schools.

this Disney ****? and Psaki backing this nonsense? will be the final straw on 2024. don't **** with parents rights over their kids.

Spare me your attempts to deflect blame. As I said it was the Dems who reneged and didn't pass the spending cuts they agreed to with Bush41, are you denying that? And Bush43 with the Rep Congress had a final deficit of a measly $161B before the Dems took back the Congress and began their huge spending increases and sent the deficit to $400B in 2008 and then $1,400B in 2009.

Why do you premise you arguments about the deficits solely on who was President, what folly.

Tell me who is passing and requesting even more HUGE spending bills?
