    This is horrifying. I’m speechless, frankly. This is a far more real concern about free speech rights than the worst thing Twitter has done.

    Americans sat quietly by and freely gave their 4th amendment rights away. Hopefully they won’t lay around like eager to please puppies on this issue, too.

    I'm sure they will start with the censoring of campaign ads from various republican's soon. Pretty much all campaign ads are just BS but I'm sure only the other side will be "misinformation."

    There's so many reasons to be upset at this move, while the comparisons to the Ministry of Truth are accurate, it's also akin to the modern day European system(and that of France during election season.) Only one problem: Something like this, should be created by Congress! The President doesn't have the power to create an entire department out of wholesale cloth and as an expansion of the DHS.

    It's literally akin in ways to the judiciary(were it to stand) and would require Senate confirmation. Senator Schumer, are you going to let this power grab disenfranchise the US Senate?
