Oh dear. Are you one of these attack the poster types?

I don't care. Respond to my points, or don't. It means nothing to me.

No, I checked it repeatedly and with every save it added quote tags throughout the formatting. I was removing them incessantly until it timed out. I'm used to better forum software.

Well, obviously, my intent was to counter a poorly constructed argument with reasoned philosophical discourse using source material and applied logic. It's called 'debate.'

This isn't about me. Go back and address my response to the OP (#3798 ) or don't. It matters little.

This looks like a nice place to start
Whats the difference? How do you discern one from the other? What makes you think Im conflating something?

I find it difficult to believe you're in the philosophy section and you cannot distinguish between religion and an ideology.

However, be that as it may, secular humanism is an ideology, but as you claimed, it is a religion. This is clearly false, as humanism lacks the belief in the required supernatural component (religion: the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods - Oxford Languages). Conservatism is an ideology, but it is not a religion. For your hypothesis to work, one must conflate religion with ideology and that isn't intellectually sound.

    1. Satanism has a demi-god, Satan
    2. An educational foundation and not a true religion
    3. Rastafarians believe in the Christian God (Jah or Jehovah)
    4. Raelians believe in 'superhuman aliens'.
    5. Aetherians believe in 'superhuman aliens'
    6. The Prince Philip Movement is a cargo cult, therefore a belief in the 'superhuman'.
    7. All worlds - Paganism therefore nature gods
    8. Pana wave: New Age amalgamation of Christianity and Buddhism
    9. BBM: A manifestation of a god
    10. Cult of personality.

Again, religion: the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods - Oxford Languages

I said they were superhuman. God man, you're terrible at this! Why are trying to discuss philosophy when you can't even comprehend a simple post?

Ok, semantic games. It is a condition of the definition, therefore a requirement. Seriously?
