I posted a link regarding Russian nuclear weapons that did show the overwhelming majority of Russian warheads were 100 kiloton yields, though I conceded this alone did not mean the average size of Russian nuclear warheads was 100 kilotons.

Still the point was there and I supported it with a link to a good source.

Here's an interesting article about how Switzerland is now considering adjusting their formal definition of neutrality in response to this invasion.... Sounds like they are considering taking a role similar to what Sweden and Finland have been doing for decades.... working with NATO without actually joining...

It's an understandable reaction to Russia's aggression in bother Georgia and now Ukraine. And while I don't think it's going to happen because turkey is going to kiabosh the deal, likely will invoke a reaction from Russia.


I find it interesting that some people on these boards can only understand reactions from Finland but not Russia. So far I'm finding both to be predictable.

 

I understand the reaction of a country that borders an unstable regime to improve their defensive posture.
I don't understand the reaction of a country that borders a democratically governed peaceful country to invade that country to find ****ing Nazis.

It is clear that Putin's actions have alienated Russia to the rest of the world. Their invasion was completely uncalled for and they are paying a heavy military price for it, and ironically that was supposed to be their gold bar in the world.

 

It's not a personal insult to acknowledge one's inability to do something. I and many others had no problem understanding putin's thought process or why he felt the way he felt. doesn't mean we agree with it. you apparently seem stumped about it.
