    NY gun laws:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_laws_in_New_York

NY has among the strongest gun laws in the US - indeed, NY has ALL the 'common sense' laws - laws, we are told,. will prevent shootings like this.

    Obviously, these laws don't work.

    So...
What law(s) would have stopped the Buffalo shooting?
    What makes you believe this?
How do these law(s) not violate the constitution?

My question is given the scrutiny agencies like the FBI have invested in, how did this published manifesto escape their notice? It seems as though several of the recent shooters have turned out to have posted on line hate, for years even, and it just never seems to be something agencies like DHS, or FBI, etc ever do anything about. In fact, haven't many of these cases turned out to be those agency's honeypot conspiracies? The Kidnapping of the MI governor comes to mind quickly. The shooter at the Orlando nightclub, but shooters in San Bernadino, There are a lot of examples so far.

Do democrats in those agencies just ignore these folks because it helps them drive home their narrative about racist extremists? The immorality of that is staggering. But even though there were at least 3 nationally reported mass shootings this weekend, only one fits the narrative this administration and it's agencies seem to want to hype. Meanwhile, how many mass killings happened in the democratic cites this weekend?

Clearly, the more onerous the gun laws of a state, the less likely they are in stopping these folks from launching their mental instability on the citizens.

Even if the FBI had it on their wallpaper, it would not have mattered as it does not make him a prohibited person.

NO law New York could enact would have stopped it. To make it more difficult it would have required FEDERAL laws. And that's what we need to seek.

Do you actually believe all guns can be confiscated?

Probably not laws. In days of yore we put people with psychopathic behavior in mental facilities. We don't do that any more. Hence this consequence.

You think criminals will give up all their guns? Hell, there will be countless law-abiding citizens who will end up not giving up their guns. Sorry, but your thought is a pipe dream

You cannot demonstrate this to be true, and you will make no meaningful attempt to do so.

Has any law absolutely stopped its violation? Does any law exist that no one will violate? e

I expect a lot more to come out about this guy.

I'm not sure why this is so difficult to understand but here it is again. Laws are NOT designed for criminals. Full stop.

Of course I can demonstrate it. But only to people who are used to reason, logic and facts. And there is only ONE fact that matters: so long as you can buy a gun designed to kill as many people as possible ANYWHERE in the United States, there is NO local law that can stop mass shootings.

Absolutely false, as you will continue to demonstrate.
That covers guns like M1903 Springfields, K98 Mausers and M38 Nagants.
And guns like Winchester M12 shotguns and Colt M1911 handguns.
How do you plan to make it impossible to buy these guns anywhere in the United States?

Every single criminal that has ever lived, exists now and will exist in the future had a point when they were *not* a criminal. Without exception.

Me? Oh I've said it a hundred times in this forum: if it were up to me I'd ban the sale of ALL firearms to the general public (with very qualified exceptions, such as law enforcement).... anything that shoots a projectile short of a NERF gun would be illegal to sell. Including parts, accessories and ammunition. Would that make mass shootings "impossible"? Who knows. But it would make them very very very difficult. And it might take years for this to make a difference. But eventually it WILL. That's good enough for me.

I suppose you could qualify the manufacture from scratch of a firearm as 'very very very difficult' for the average American, but what about the 400 million guns already in circulation, and what about those that would be illegally imported from other nations to fill the demand that a local supply shutoff would create?

yeah, screw all those women, why should any of them get to defend themselves effectively against home intruders? I can’t think of any reasons. Glad you can’t either

If they were good little members of society they would just get rape whistles and vote for more cops. Unless they live near at-risk minorities who are targetted by cops tho... hmmm.

Difficult enough. BTW, I would ban that too.

As for the guns in circulation, as I said: it might take years. But no gun sales, no replacement parts, no munition.. and we might get to a tolerable point eventually. Very little recourse left for your typical white supremacist terrorist. And more likelihood they'll get caught before anybody gets killed.

I already explained this in a thread I opened for this very purpose. I might look back and open it again some time.

"Women"? Why are you specifically talking about.... Oh! I see... Because you consider them "the weaker sex", right?
