Not without any proof. An anonymous person on the internet has an agenda if they don't offer proof.
So prove the Cleveland clinic has an agenda in studying brains of transgenders and finding evidence that brains of trans tend to function more closely with the gender they identify with.

And it's the Cleveland Clinic you are dissing. One of the top healthcare system in the USA and perhaps the world.

So is a hermaphrodite non human? If not female or male, and those are the only options, are they dogs?

You have an amazing capacity of saying totally off the wall things that you are trying to attribute to me that have nothing to do with the quote you are replying to.

So...please provide the quote of mine where I allegedly said "a hermaphrodite [is] non human."

Also please explain this "gender sense" which you very much did post about. Is it like Spidey sense?

That's not what he is saying, and you are fallaciously attempting to treat "the abnormal" (relating to particular circumstances) as if it were "the normal" (relating to the definition of). You are trying to claim, essentially, that an apple is no longer an apple because there happens to be a worm inside of it.

The definition of male and female does not change because of the circumstantial existence of various "abnormalities" (or deviations from "the normal") such as hermaphroditism.

Liberals sure love to play this game, but I never let them get away with it. They try to use this very same fallacious reasoning with regard to the definition of 'marriage' in their attempt to falsely classify "Adam and Steve" as a "marriage".

    He is doing both.

On one front, he is attempting to guide you into taking a paradoxical position on this issue (namely, that you "simultaneously accept AND deny the existence of abnormalities")... However, you are not denying the existence of abnormalities, so no paradox exists in your reasoning. He is just making this up in desperation.

On another front, he is refusing to be reasonable. He is basing his reasoning on a false equivalence fallacy, namely his attempt to treat the "abnormal" as if it were the "normal".

    I'm trying to understand you.

Is a hermaphrodite a male, or a female. Do you call that person him, or her?

You tried and failed (as I have previously explained).

There are only two "genders" (sexes). Male and Female. That's it.

Yes, there can be abnormalities (such as hermaphroditism) which can potentially complicate the sex distinction for that particular person, but abnormalities are not "the normal". "The normal" is that males have XY chromosomes (specifically, the presence of the SRY gene). "The normal" is that females have XX chromosomes (specifically, the absence of the SRY gene). This is basic biology.

It is 100% up to the presence or absence of the SRY gene.

Precisely. The "abnormal" (relating to circumstances) is not the "normal" (relating to the definition of). You cannot rationally treat one as if it were the other.

It is not proof of anything, other than your rejection of logic. You cannot treat the abnormal (relating to circumstances) as if it were the normal (relating to the definition of). The determination of "gender" (sex) resides in the presence/absence of the SRY gene. Colloquially speaking, XX = female (vagina) ... XY = male (penis). Again, this is basic biology.

Irrelevant. The sex of a person is defined by the presence/absence of the SRY gene, but more colloquially and visually, XX = female (vagina) ... XY = male (penis).

Your "sense of self" does not change basic biology in any way. You are what you are (with regard to your sex), regardless of what you "feel" that you are, or what you "delude" yourself into thinking that you are.

No, it is up to the presence/absence of the SRY gene, regardless of your feelings.

Yes, she is just making stuff up. Which reminds me, I need to add "gender sense" to my Lispy Leftist List of Linguistic Lunacy.

It surprises me that so many of you have no sense that you are male or female. You only know because you peeked at your genitalia. That's so weird to me.

No. A hermaphrodite is a human (of the homo sapien sapien species).

No. A hermaphrodite is a human (of the homo sapien sapien species). A hermaphrodite circumstantially happens to have a genetic abnormality in which both sex organs are present. A circumstantial abnormality has no affect on what "the normal" is (IOW, relating to the definition of male and female), which is the presence of a penis (male) or a vagina (female).

It seems that you are beginning to see that "Curious Always" seems to never be curious about much of anything at all, in this case that would be learning about basic biology.

Is it a male or female human? I've been assured, repeatedly, that gender is binary.

For those who don't know, binary is a true/false statement. There is no third option, EVER in binary.

    So, tell me which, please.

It's an easy question. I've yet to see an answer. Male or female? Those are the only two choices in a binary system.

RQAA. Stop asking the same (already answered) question over and over again and read what people say to you.

What language is RQAA, and does it translate to male, or female?

I use it whenever people ask the same question over and over again even though it has already been answered at least once beforehand.

What do you mean, what would I call it/him/her? I don't know. But I know hermaphroditism is an abnormality, not a perfectly normal state of being. Anyway, you failed to provide the quote where I allegedly said "a hermaphrodite [is] non human." That's such a absurd false claim it's really hard to go on without some clarification. So when and where did I say that?

It was new for me too, although I kind of like the sound of it, "gender sense." I think that has a chance to really take off. Although back in the real world it simply sounds that she is arguing that if she can pretend it, she can be it.
