if you’re talking natural gas I would be very opposed to it. This market is competitive. Boils down to bidding for mineral rights, land leases, and mud programs. I don’t know much about electrical but I would still argue against price controls. Pricing the supply right enables there to be a supply.

If everyone went to electric vehicles because of price controlled electricity you would find the system overloaded. Only a very very small fraction of California’s registered vehicles are electric and they are told not to charge them during certain times of the day due to overloading the system. Prices control supply, and supply controls prices. There is a good balance based on that, not on what someone may deem as affordable.

Fools might believe that sort of disingenuous tripe.
If you can jump through the hoops.
It is if you don't have one. And there are other hoops: getting to an inconvenient or distant polling station; taking time off work; arranging for child care because you will be lining up for hours because there are too few voting machines in Democrat districts, etc., etc.

And that's not the point, it's not even true.

First as wages have gone up, you are not getting back to the prices you used to pay even under the best of circumstances. That said, you are overthinking it. It is all about supply and demand. Just don't buy anything you can do without and if enough people do that, prices will start to come back down as supply overtakes demand. I have noticed, for instance, that the price of chicken has gone through the roof at my neighborhood grocery, but the price of chicken livers have not. The reason is not that many people want the livers.

You don't know anything about how the US monetary system works, do you?
Because Trump appointees on the Fed board, including Powell, are deliberately creating an economic meltdown in time for the November elections.
    Oh. The. Irony.

Everyone has an ID. It is a lefty myth and racist for the left to claim that blacks don't have ID's.

Maybe you can name some Republican law somewhere that outlaws an eligible voter from voting. There aren't any.

LOL. Voters know who to blame when November comes around. It pleases me to no end how, when 75% of Americans think the country is going in the wrong direction, the left wants to continue going in the same direction.

How did we get back to the prices of 1972? We never did welcome to the reality of capitalism.

Which is the point of this thread. Democrats have destroyed our country and there is no going back but for to bring on deflation and a depression. They have put us into a lose/lose situation with their policies.

Oh please. The polls are everywhere. Your head is down so far in the sand it has come up in China. By all means, ignore the 75%. I just stand by flabbergasted as to how completely oblivious the left are. Just out of curiosity, what do you think the numbers are? My God man, politicians in your own party have been jumping off the Titanic for months now.

Well, I'm not really a fan of either party but it has been painfully obvious that Democrats have put the country in the wrong direction and we will NEVER return to the prices we had before.

We never do no matter who is president is what I am saying, your dream is going to fail unless deflation occurs and that will only make the capitalist screw us more.

    And New York:

Biden’s climate policies realized: New York’s ‘Home Energy Crisis’ – ‘More than a million households are 60 days in arrears on their energy bills, with an avg. of $1,427.71 in debt, & shut-offs are increasing’.

“Most people who die of heat in summers are senior citizens or children,” said Jasmine Graham, the Energy Justice Policy Manager at WE ACT Environmental Justice. “Shutoffs in summers are as bad as winters.”

They have an abundance of Natural Gas reserves.

Democrats have made it so that we can't go back on the 8% from last year and probably another 8% this year and it is doubtful we will even get back to 2%-3% any time in the near future.

So I just perused those laws. Exactly which ones do you have a problem with. Almost all of them save one or two seem completely reasonable.

And given the tone of that article whoever wrote it is clearly biased. So I’m not sure their list of laws is really all that accurate. But assuming it is. Which one exactly is problematic?

That's clearly false. But nice attempt to change the subject.
I don't recall anyone saying that. Did you just make it up?
