As far as a teacher telling students about two dads, well, I have many, many years of schooling, many years, and not once has a teacher ever mentioned anything about having two dads, being born the wrong gender or the five pillars of Islam. Why are they getting that now? I didn’t need it, you didn’t need it, so why now? Because your side is grooming while the iron is hot.

I have two gay cousins. One of them is so bad that the second you meet him you know he’s gay. If the way he talks doesn’t do it, or the way he dresses doesn’t do it, then it will be the instant mentioning of his husband that will do it.

They told me when I was young before I figured out I was gay that it was wrong so there was a bit of apprehension there but they have accepted it. They are baby boomers so I understand the apprehension.

Try addressing what was said because its obvious I did read what you said since I reference several parts of your post. Try again. This time be honest in your posting. Or at least try to be.

 

If you feel unsafe on a college campus that’s YOUR insecurity. If you feel unsafe in an ordinary workplace that’s you being crazy. If you feel unsafe in a nice neighborhood that’s your delusion. I feel unsafe in a garage at night alone or walking to my car at night on a side street in the city. When I’m shooting interviews or footage with $200k+ in camera gear in a mostly black neighborhood we have to hire security or a cop to escort us. I don’t have to do that in mostly white neighborhoods. I don’t feel unsafe working in a mostly white school but I have to hire a grip to guard all my gear when I’m doing interviews in an inner city school. Care to guess why?

My black neighbors go jogging through the neighborhood. I see black people walking, riding their bikes, playing tennis at night. They don’t look very concerned. They don’t need a safe space because we’re in a safe area with upper class people. It’s all a safe space and color doesn’t matter.

A black person is SAFER around a bunch of white people compared to a white person around a bunch of black people. Crime and murder statistics prove me correct. The ONLY people blacks people really need a safe space from is mostly other black people. This ain’t the 50s. It’s 2022. You’re loving on a delusion of you think a POC is unsafe in every day America. The most unsafe areas are around other POC. Being around white people is about as safe as it gets.

 

I have several cousins who are also gay. One is all about the display, and he knows it, and even makes fun of himself. The other doesn't talk, walk or dress the stereotypical 'gay', he's quite professional. *shrug* It is what it is.

That said, I had a high school friend that one would have sworn he was gay by mannerisms, spiffy dresser, and he was absolutely not. So physical attributes don't always tell the story.
