    Don’t know - I think there might be an awful lot of people who agree with him. And he got coverage. He is positioning himself for another presidential run and that means media exposure This was free exposure - it sent a message that he is not in the “thoughts and prayers camp” and he is speaking directly to the 80% of Americans who want sensible gun laws and fewer mass shootings - especially fewer mass shootings of six, seven and eight year olds

Then yes this definitely was a political stunt - that is the cynic talking - the optimist and humanist would just love to see what is an almost uniquely American problem solved or at least reduced to the level seen elsewhere in the world. No country derives to see its children die like this

    Lets see. I have bought 10+ firearms over the last 20 years and have had to do a background check every time.. And the last three were FBI/ATF/ICE.. So what now Bowerbird, UK/Outer space, what?

    I don't consider grooming children to be protecting them.
    I don't consider mutilating their genitals to be protecting them.
    I don't consider masking them up (and others around them) to the point where they have developmental issues (speech or otherwise) to be protecting them.
    I don't consider instilling racism and fear into them to be protecting them.
    I don't consider instilling confusion and lies about their anatomy to be protecting them.
    I don't consider the condoning of child pornography to be protecting them.
    I don't consider the condoning of joint bathrooms (based on the buzzword "gender identification") to be protecting them.
    I don't consider the "everyone is a winner" mentality to be protecting them.

    These are all things that liberals tend to condone doing to children AFTER they are born, IF those children even manage to make it out of their mother's womb alive, and the list could go on and on...

    I have a very serious question here for the republicans:

    How do you reconcile that you can support forcing a woman to die with an atopic pregnancy by not allowing her to get an abortion, yet you refuse to even consider taking a gun away from one person to save the lives of those same children when they grow up and are in schools ?

    Why don't more Pro Lifers do more of that. Why don't they offer to PAY prospective abortion mothers $5000 after expenses to have the child instead and then adopt the baby out to waiting parents. Strikes me as probably less expensive than going to Romania.

    I'm not supporting a law telling mothers they have to have an abortion
