    Let's hope he does kill himself.
    Gun owners are far less tolerant of crime than the lefties are, and doubly so on firearms abuses.
    The common denominator, is and always has been- the person wielding the weapon. If you can't focus on that, you misunderstand what's happening.

    How about we make schools less vulnerable? Make them hard targets instead of soft targets. That can be done NOW.

    It's also true that it's legal to own a gun in Mexico, (with a permit) but you have to buy it from the "government store". of which there is only one in the whole country and it's in Mexico city. The cartels however have every kind of weapon; many come from the US, but the numbers for that are only counting guns that the ATF is asked to trace. Visibly, there are a lot of AK47 rifles there, and arms from other countries. But they do have strict gun laws which create serious restrictions on the law-abiding public- but none of consequence on the cartels and gangs. The illegal trade in guns is like the illegal trade in drugs- you aren't going to impact that with laws that only affect law-abiding citizens.

    Oh, and those horrible, evil "assault weapons" aren't assault weapons. And rifles of all types contributed about 3-5% of all murders according to the FBI.
