The media is a capitalist business? Where does the media get all their money from?? Certainly, not subscribers.

The original intent of the 1ST amendment was to allow a free media to inform the public come election time but the only thing the media is doing is being a mouthpiece for special interests (who fund them money and keep them afloat).

Side Note: The same thing could be said about politicians...Politicians don't represent the people. Politicians represent special interest groups who fund them for their reelection bids.

Neither politicians nor the media are after the best interests of Americans.

 

The sad part is you are serious.
Certainly part of media income sources is subscribers to newpapers, websites, etc.

But the majority, for TV media, income comes from the sales of advertising.

Do you think all the people who work in media work for free?
Where do you think the income comes from to make a profit and pay employees?
Do you have proof that income to media comes from special interests? A link to that would be helpful.

 

Maybe if you show any kind of evidence of a Hispanic transgender murderer, you can start a threat about it. Why are you talking about imaginary murderers? Why should we have threads about murders that didn't happen? And, no, the shooter in the recent Uvalde school massacre was not transgender and was not the person pictured here. Why are you helping spread such hateful lies?

 

The murderer was not trans. Conservative trolls spread lies that this was the killer in order to dupe their gullible drones into helping them spread their hateful lies. And the drones fell for it hook, line, and sinker without bothering to try to figure out if it was true first.

 

Fringe right trolls have been spreading these pictures. They aren't pictures of the murderer. They just know that their drones won't care about the facts and will help them spread their lies anyway. They don't care about the victims. They only care about how they can use the bodies of dead children to spin their politically convenient lies.

Yes, even GOP Congressmen are working hard to associate the killings to LGBT by spreading the fake photos. Its a new low, and given the gullibility of many party apologists it will result in anti-LGBT sentiment. That seems to be the goal, and goes hand-in-hand with the anti-gay laws they are passing.

 

Not to the people spreading lies about the shooter being trans.

People who actually care about about the victims don't spread lies about the identity of the murderer.

 

Or maybe they'll be honest enough to realize this isn't the shooter and that fringe right trolls lied to their drones in order to get them to spread a fake story to demonize trans people.

The lie about the shooter's identity didn't lose steam. It picked up stream among the fringe right drones, none of whom actually cared about the victim. They saw a lie about the shooter being trans, and they ran with it without as second thought. They value demonizing the "other" over facts or the lives of the victims.

 

Why are you constantly tweeting something that is a proven lie?

 

It's doubly wrong when they are lying about the identity of the shooter in the first place. They are sharing photos of SOMEONE WHO WASN'T THE SHOOTER and lying about them being the shooter. They don't care about the victims. They only care about being able to lie about the identity of the shooter in order to demonize their favorite targets. The images in the OP are NOT images of the shooter. Period.

 

Couldn't agree more. In the face of an horrific tragedy, some are more interested in how the media will report the event than the fact that 19 children are dead. Some feel the need to take yet another stab at the transgender community or Hispanics instead of discussing something uniquely American in the worst possible sense.

 

Of course he does it. Its called "trolling". Or maybe in this case its more about pushing an agenda where the goal is to smear LGBT by falsely associating them to the killings. If so, then it falls in the category of "bearing false witness".

Not sure why anyone would resort to that, but clearly their 'moral fiber' is in tatters if not completely gone.

And, I don't give a damn what they think about ANY CRIME until they explain why thousands of incited (with a lie, no less) Trump supporters beat the hell out of hundreds of Capitol police officers. They side with cops when they are shooting black and brown people. Crickets on that BS.
