Not at all. It was the Secret Service who said guns could not be present during Trump's speech.

 

Trump has nothing to do with my post. The fact that you attempt to paint it as such shows that too many people believe that Trump has any lasting value in their lives and minds.

'Good Guys' aren't usually aggressors. If they were aggressors, they wouldn't be 'good guys'. I've had a CCW for 30 years, so thinking it's had anything to do with Trump pretty much shows how sad your statement is.

Your whole OP is wrong. Guns are allowed in the convention. They are only not allowed during the Trump speech and that was a Secret Service order.

I am not an NRA member or a gun nut in any way, but I am pretty sure that they support the police. They in no way pretend like they can replace the police. This is a nonsensical claim. Just because they believe more good guys with guns make things safer, this does NOT equate to good guys with guns mean we can get rid of the police. Such a leap in logic is preposterous.

You say this is their logic, I say that it is not. If this is indeed "the logic of the NRA", then clearly you should be able to find an example of someone representing the NRA making such a claim. If you do not have proof of such a claim, you cannot legitimately call that their logic.
