Yes, if the USPS officially stated that THEY lost those ballots but were found but they complied with the date requirements by the voter then there would be a case to have them accepted under the law.

But again demonstrating the problems with mass mail in voting and why I would never do so unless there was a hardship reason, I am out of the country or in the hospital etc.

He has already said no multiple times. He has answered your question. You should either answer his or stop.

 

No. Because no one deserves to have that said about their body and what they do in sync with it. I love my body and I refuse to let anyone say what I am doing is “mutilation”.

It's not the voter eligibility it is the ballot eligibility. And it is the state legislature that sets the rules and a state matter not a federal matter.

 

Up to the day the state sets a rule that violate Federal Rules....

And it really shouldn't be that way anyway.. It's completely obvious many of the individual states don't have the first clue on how to run a fully inclusive election.

I don't understand that. Isn't the date related to whether the ballot was caste in time rather voter qualifications? If the Court erred by conflating these two different things, I would expect this ruling to be overturned.

This is interesting:

I feel like part of the story is missing. If the ballots were in hand before the deadline, or if the requirement was "postmarked on election day" and they came in envelopes postmarked by election day, then I understand the decision. But, if they do not have any means of showing that these votes were cast in time, then I do not expect this decision to stand.

 

Oh I know. That’s why I have a sense of humor here. See I know that this is what is driving Bluesguy up a wall, being forced to confront his own bigoted statements. Let’s be honest with ourselves this isn’t the first or last time we will be doing this dance. We’ve been doing this for months now. And so I keep asking him to apologize. But the funny thing is I know conservatives don’t have as much emotional intelligence as the left. True statistic. Something about brain structure. What this means is, I am asking Bluesguy to do something he can’t do. I don’t think he has the emotional intelligence enough to realize he’s hurt my feelings and I am asking him to acknowledge what he did to me- insult my own bodily autonomy. The joke here is- his bigotry shows why he lacks emotional intelligence and I find that hilarious.

Ah that does remind me of something the other day I wish I had done. A kid was tauntingly saying that another kid had called him stupid. I wanted to so badly call him out on it but I wish I had brought up rightful resistance. Would have been hilarious to see the look on his face when I called him out on it.
