The first step is to admit that the proliferation of guns is a poison to American society.

Constitutions are not there to crush the people but to ensure their security.

So, if a majority of people want change - and the GOP elected officials are no longer subservient to the NRA lobby - change is possible.

This is the argument I've heard a hundred times on this forum.

Except that all the countries in the West that have applied severe measures against guns have seen a significant decrease in their homicide rate.

And we have more than 30 years of statistics on this.
