    You know much more about these craft than I do :D But the A-10 fulfills a unique ground support role that I expect these other fighters could not do quite as well or would not be as well suited to do. Better to have those sleek bad boys guarding the A-10s as they pummel Russia's artillery and other ground units, I say.

    its to slow...its too vunerable to SAM and AA...the gun looks great but most kills come from the Mavericks....it's great in low hostility environments but would need too much protection up against the Russians to be anywhere as effective as it's more modern cousins. Give me an F-15E with its sniper pod and rack full of GBU-39s anyday

    yeah its done some great stuff and sure was a great aircraft its just a bit long in the tooth now...bless its cotton socks....would be great if they could have integrated the Sniper into it but wasn't to be...its been left behind.
    It's one of those nostalgia aircraft that everyone knows and lover...specially the brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrt

    ah...don't forget the Apache....the AH-64 is a bloody good weapons platform and I reckon it would do well in the Ukraine specially with a good CAP to protect it....

    The only horrific thing is that you are horrified by another false flag propaganda piece. If multiple cruise missiles hit the shopping centre with 1,000+ people surely more than 100 would have died. That's what I expected after G7 meeting. More coordinated propaganda.
