So you expect the country to be geographically divided right? You have lots of liberals and lots of conservatives living all over the nation....

Many who have had homesteads in the family for generations. How do you plan to convince them to pull up their roots and just move to some place they've never been?

So they have 50 acres here that has a certain market value..... Are you going to give them 50 acres in this new nation?

What is the market value is not the same? What if they don't like the location or care to uproot?

This is just the tip of the iceberg that you have failed to consider in your little fantasy here.

Nobody has to move. Its not like I believe in exiling Republicans. They can live as a political minority and seek to influence policy in the same sorts of ways they do now, except there may be some changes in the constitution that we write, to improve the document. For example if they want to own those assault rifles, they may prefer to move to Texas where they will undoubtedly be available for purchase at 7 - 11 .and Mini-marts with a lighter weight version for ages 4-7 yrs.

Talk about a bunch of hypocrites, did you see Rusty Bowers (R), Arizona State House Speaker? Voted for trump twice but slammed him at the Jan 6th hearing. He went on and on about how the Constitution was "divinely inspired". What trump asked was illegal and wrong. He wouldn't do that for anyone. He wouldn't betray his sacred oath.

After all of that he added, but he'd vote for trump again! And here I was thinking, now THERE is an honorable Republican. But hell no!!!

There people are beyond hope. They don't deserve to live in America.

I believe you are probably right. But its nessisary now. The country will never pull together and we share none of the same basic values anymore. We could do a much better job, taking that Constitution and just fine tuning it enough that it will work again. We could do something to ensure that it's free speech language does not preclude election finance reform, and that corporations are not treated like people, we ditch or amend that second amendment so state legislatures or our Congress are not hamstrung. We could deal with gerrymandering, the filibuster, the electoral college and term limits, and even ranked voting systems could be considered. None will every happen if the southern and trump states have a veto.
