The Trump Admin had the WH, the House and the Senate when the COVID shutdown occurred. The BAILOUTS were by the Feds and also the states. The shutdown was done by the Feds at the time, the GOP.

Again, the Trump administration effected no, as in none, nada, zip, zero, shut downs. They probably tightened security and access to federal property but they have no say whatsoever is done at the Capitol and no say with any private business or venue. It was all Democrats in NY, Mich, CA, Ill and other states that instituted draconian shut downs and lock outs.

What is imbecilic is prolonging the war in Ukraine. Cut a deal with Russia and get the oil/grain flowing again.

Things are looking very grim for the fall. When that catastrophe hits, the Democrats can kiss their asses goodbye in the November election. That amount of economic carnage cannot and will not be forgiven by the American voter.

Denying fact and history does not actually re-write it this quickly, Trump was the Russian puppet POTUS, and the authoritarian GOP ran the House and Senate and controlled the mandate. The states simply executed the Fed mandate.

Obama, in one of his budgets where he promised go stop the big subsidies for oil/gas admitted there wasn't enough there to spit at. Figures don't lie, but liars figure.
