    Nah just an unintended consequence. They won’t all move here, they can still get free care in all 50 states via the ER.

    I had a kidney stone about 20 months ago when I was a caregiver with zero income.

    I tried to get the bronze plan which is the lowest level. I would have had a $10,000 deductible and my premium would have been almost $500 a month with zero income.

    So please don't feed me that

    Correction.
    California treats immigrants better than right wing nut jobs. Right wing nut jobs are more destructive than immigrants, so this is a good move.

    Making this even more absurd, the cost of healthcare is five times higher on the U.S. side of the border than it is in Mexico.

    Apparently some people think it's a good use of taxpayer money to pay for Mexicans to get healthcare in the U.S.?

    Immigrants already get free emergency room Healthcare thanks to Regean. This is aimed to orevent those wasteful expenditures for preventative conditions.

    I was 40 at the time. And by the time out of applied for Medicare even if I could have got it it wouldn't have done me a damn bit of good for a kidney stone I was suffering acutely at the moment

    Reading the responses of lefties would be comedic gold if it wasn't such a destructive position they've taken.

    Back when California was still more of purple state, the state voters passed an initiative to cut the undocumented off from free ER treatment, but the state courts overturned the will of the people.
    Proposition 187 passed in 1994
