Like I said, Lefties screamed the lockdowns hadn't been implemented sooner. You can't have your cake and eat it.

Trump was President, it was Trump's shutdown and reopen guidelines

I hear they planned to increase production overseas in July, so let's hope

and I agree, Biden knew it would take time, nothing he could do

it will take foreign oil increasing production to force US oil to lower prices, nothing else will do it

I love watching liberals run and hide from the policies they were bragging about and diverting to excuses to Trump. Once you were proud of all those lefty governors standing up to Trump and keeping states and schools shut down when Trump was telling the world they needed to open. You loved Biden's 1st in office reversal of all the Energy EO's and cancelling of the pipeline construction. All down literally the first day Biden was in office and boy were they bragging about it.. Now what do we see, you call it the Trump shut down, and arguing Biden did nothing to hurt oil production. You're admitting the policy failed with your excuses, it's hilarious.

Trump was the one that released the guidelines, Trump was the President

I don’t see how you think so. Comments like what this man has said, killing pipe lines, increasing costs to drill, increasing red tape to drill, banning Russian oil with no plan to try and offset the loss. I’m not sure how you could ever claim this isn’t intentional

Non sequitur deflecting with desperation is not debate. It' just simply disingenuous.

Uhh no, we want some sanity in gas prices. Biden has literally made himself look like an unprepared fool at every crisis, he's already a disaester. It all started with Afghanstan leaving and having to go back, to the supply crisis while bootyjudge is on paternity leave for two months and claiming they had a plan (still waiting on that one), to his FDA shutting down a major baby formula factory without making steps to plan for production losses, parents on terror watch list, Transitory inflation lol, now gas prices that were sky rocketing up before Russia invaded to now blaming Putin and ignoring his first day in office actions.

They were guidelines not forced orders. The states where left to decide wether to follow them or not. Which is exactly why you seen some states open before others (Republican states). If it were forced the federal government could have forced them to remain closed but they couldn’t.

    We were at “peak multinationalism”.
Multinationalism is great at getting the cheapest bolt from Nigeria screwed into the cheapest nut from the Sudan, then gets shipped to Ford in Detroit to hold a wheel on a truck…. Until a link in the chain breaks. “Got lots of bolts, but no nuts!”
That’s kinda where we are now, and we are still in the quicksand because we don’t make many domestic nuts and bolts anymore.

Yes, and the Left cried like hell that the lockdowns didn't happen sooner. And what has the lockdowns achieved? High inflation and misery for all, to save the tiny tiny minority that the Left cried over.

And not mandates. Glad we are all finally getting on the same page here. The Trump administration never initiated any mandatory lock downs and left it up to the states while providing recommendations through CDC guidelines.

the Trump shutdowns were too little, too late - they were not effective and actually caused harm

Not this time around. I believe freedom was the best thing to do. To each their own but to those governors that freed their citizens of forced oppression I say hats off to them
