    (CNN)An Atlanta-area grand jury investigating former President Donald Trump's attempts to overturn the 2020 election in Georgia has subpoenaed a handful of key Trump allies, including his former attorney Rudy Giuliani and South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, according to court filings.

    The subpoenas also cover a handful of Trump's other former legal advisers, including John Eastman, Jenna Ellis, Cleta Mitchell and Kenneth Chesebro.

    Not sure about Graham, but it looks like GA is going hold some of those election deniers accountable. If so, glad to know.

    Lindsey made 2 VERY suspicious calls of his own.... He needs to explain why he did that and/or who told him to call the freaking SOS of another state....

    Maybe, but there are other ways to skin a cat, and this grand jury has a judge who can hold non-compliant parties in contempt, maybe jail. This is a little different than the process the House Jan 6th committee is conducting. In ways, this is way bigger of a problem. There are serious legal consequences at stake.

    Not much that can be done (rightfully) about someone taking the fifth, other than offering immunity. Then they can be compelled.

    So hilarious. This is wholly based on trump and others asking to re-examine the ballots which is perfectly legal and nothing which was said or done is even REMOTELY illegal.

    Graham made at least two calls to Raffensperger himself,, basically urging him to throw theelection towards Trump. He's as dirty as they come in this mess.

    Provide any source where trump or anyone else asserted that votes needed to be fabricated.

    What you have is Trump telling them to look again.

    Don’t believe me? Source the most damning piece of evidence against Trump in regards to this situation.

    Is that what Trump was asking for? A re-examination of ballots that had been counted a third time already?

    Perhaps you didn't hear him when he asked Raffensperger to "find" him a very specific number of votes. In case you're bewildered by it all, that was not legal. That was an blatant attempt at election fraud.

    Trump EXPLICITLY says that they have an inaccurate election and that they’re off by hundreds of thousands of votes. So trump CLEARLY wasn’t asking for them to FABRICATE votes. He believed they just needed to find VALID votes.

    Which is why your little gambit here will fail. Because that’s the best you got. And that’s not going to cut it lol
