The very last thing that these politicians want to get out is that the weapon used was a fully automatic rifle that a cartel member used while guarding a drug shipment that crossed the open border.

 

Innocent until proven guilty. If you don't take them to court to 1) convict them of a crime 2) have them civilly committed because they're a psychotic who is dangerous to themselves and/or others or 3) have a protective order brought, they haven't been proven anything.

We have these things called rights. They depend on people not being profligate pieces of **** who so neglect their own child's mental state they miss something as obvious as this dude being crazy as a **** house rat and wanting to kill people.

Pistols are sidearms used to get you to your rifle.
Normally in their squad car in the front seat in an upright locking clip ready to be grabbed. Same place they used to keep the shotguns. Now they keep the patrol rifle there, and leave the shotgun in the trunk for when they need to load a bean bag round if they even keep a shotgun around at all.

If there is a connection between young men, marijuana use, prescribed psychotropic drugs use, SSRI or antidepressants and these mass shooters, shouldn't that inform any developing Red Flag laws, and if so, shouldn't that also bar military, police and armed security service?

Urban hell holes seem to exist in Red States too, so I don't know what travel trauma you've had that would warrant such a blanket description.

But you appear to be under some distorted vision of Americans' right to concealed firearms. For most of America's history, concealed weapons within town borders was frowned upon. Even the infamous Dodge City of the western era required travelers to hand in their guns at the sheriff's office until they left Dodge.

Perhaps Vice-President Harris may have had a few right ideas but there wasn't of interest for the grieving families that had lost their loved ones. Harris was right about it being senseless. There must have been some motive to this and a reason to go along with this. We've seen too many killings and this has to stop. Robert Crimeo I don't think is sorry for what he did. In fact, he isn't sorry at all. This was intentional and he'd do it again, again and again. His reward will be life imprisonment. That all I'm going to say on this matter for now.

Like I mentioned earlier in the tread, the complicity usually starts in the home. Lives at home in his room, no job, antisocial loner, has a propensity to showing psychotic behavior, and dearest dad helps him to get a gun? C'mon... connect the dots.
