I dunno if you remember the Great Gay Boycott of 2012 when you had gays protesting Chik Fil-A - and it ended up being the best thing that ever happened to the chain because people ended up eating there to protest the protest. It didn't help that you had THIS guy being the face of the LGBQT Protest. What happened to him was epic.

I think at the time there wasn't a Chik Fil-A for a hundred miles from where I lived. There's one now about ten miles away.

You'd think they would have figured out how to make a decent french fry by now.

I can't disagree with you there. I'm trying to think of a worse fry, and all I got is Del Taco - theirs just suck.

Considering they came outta it smelling like roses and the LGBQT Protest came out of it smelling like excrement, maybe not so much. Like I said, CFA made money hand over fist thanks to the protest.

With Taco Bell that high in sales, I don't understand how the US has a gas crisis!

I don't think it necessarily follows that Favorite in a poll = Best in Sales. I mean, outside of fries I can't imagine McDonalds being anyone's favorite in anything but I bet I've spent more money there because of my family. I mean, if someone put a gun to my head and told me to pick from that list I would say BK but the one near me is so bad I haven't spent any money at all there in at least ten years.

When it comes to crap food loaded with grease, sales means best. Anything else is not quantifiable.

And chic-fli-A is about as crappy as it gets. This is all just more right wing horse sht.

Higher sales doesn't mean it's the best. McDonald's burgers and fries don't even come close to In-N-Out.

If you showed people this tune right after his debut album released they probably wouldn't believe you.

The first one of those near me didn't open until around two or three years ago; now there are three nearby. they are very recent arrivals around here. I've eaten there twice; pretty decent but thy have a limited menu. They are a California native chain. Their burgers are on the small side, but everything was fresh on them. They are a couple of blocks from 5 Guys Burgers though, so we usually just go there.

Back in the day before the health conscious craze McDonald's fries were fried in pure beef tallow.

In my opinion they're current fries which are fried in oils.... Don't hold a candle to what they once were.

    Chick-fil-A has good waffle fries

I doubt McD's stills soaks their taters in water for 3 days first any more either; that was their 'big secret recipe' thing for their first 3 decades.

Most love their fries. They actually peel and slice the fresh whole potato within each restaurant to make their fries. They are very good in my opinion. Like Chick-Fil-A, they put Bible texts on the bottom of their serving containers/ soda cups

We have 5 guys and Habit here along with the usual national burger fast foods with multiples of each, Carl’s, Jack, McD, BK. Getting a 2nd In and Out right next to an I-5 exit helped a lot leaving the other more for locals.

Really? Maybe it is a franchise-by-franchise thing, but I haven't noticed any actually changes in the food.

Here in Tx they went to **** in a hurry, at least it's edible somewhere. I thought they started here, maybe someone else has maintained a proper level of quality.
