    Warner Bros executives have dramatically scrapped its $100 million Batgirl film after it received poor test reviews.

    The decision to axe the film — which was slated to be released on HBO Max later this year — came after a series of test screenings were panned by audiences, an unnamed source told the New York Post, and studio execs thought it would hurt the future of the brand as executives seek to streamline the DC Extended Universe.

    sounds homophobe execs did not like the film and found a reason to censored it

    I was looking forward to seeing it as Michael Keaton was playing Batman

    He is also in the Flash film, but who knows what they are going to do with that

    A movie that is universally panned by test audiences is going to lose money. And if it's awful enough could kill the only consistent cash cow WB has. Gay stuff is niche stuff most people just aren't interested. Especially if it's preachy holier than thou gay stuff.

    Fairly recently. The propagandists and social engineers got lazy and stopped trying hide their programming. People prefer to be programmed subliminally I guess.

    Thanks for the correction. I can see it's Warner Brothers.

    I assumed it was Disney because everybody's going on about how woke Disney is. Yet I see that they govern Marvel Studies & the Star Wars series, which is mostly successful.

    The plot thickens.

    I have not heard anything about the movie being "woke," but it must be so bad that whatever rough cut the execs watched that they decided it couldn't be saved and just decided to tank the entire investment in the film. It's really unbelievable.

    A remake of the suicide squad made it out, as did a few other massive flops. They should have turned it over to porn hub, those guys would have picked up the pieces and ran with it.

    Disney has no involvement in this. Warner Bros. owns the rights to DC superhero movies. Disney only owns the rights to the MCU. Even Marvel movies like Venom and Morbius were done by Sony and not the MCU.

    Do you have a link for this. I have been following this on Reddit and had heard this was only screened ONCE and the claim was the reaction was postive. It was also an early screening so there were only temporary special effects inserted as placeholders. The first was still in the editing process when it was axed.

    Are you sure you are not referring to Batwoman on CW that was cancelled several months ago. I will agree those shows fit the definition of woke.
