A good exercize for you - Tyranny of the Majority" is law made on the basis of 50+1 referendum .. why is my opinion on the electoral college irrelevant to this fact - and your lack of understanding of this fact. How will my opinion on the electoral college .. help you to understand that making law on the basis of 50+1 majority - is "Tyranny of the Majority"

Further .. how does it not make me a moron .. for continuing a conversation with one who can not figure out how my opinion on the electoral college is irrelevant .. in given context :)

I've seen interviews in the past where he confides he wanted to change his look/appearance so he looked nothing like his father. That is evidence enough.

How many white parents are buying little black dolls for their white kids? If any, I'm gonna guess very few. Hell, how many white parents in this thread bought a black doll for their kids? I'm gonna go with ZERO.

Mos Def. How many black women do you see with white men compared to white women with black men?

There is the answer you don't like but will suck it up.

If the popular vote decided the Presidency, that would also be 50+1.

What would be proven, by my pointing to one example? I thought we were talking about overall society's prejudices. Therefore, even if I rattled off 20 individual examples, of black women being minimized, it would not mean very much. You, apparently did not bother to check the demographic stats, on all of our SCOTUS Judges. We have had 115 (including Brown-Jackson). All but 7 of these, have been white men. In case you are unfamiliar with what proof of an idea, looks like, that is what this is, biting you in the nuts, right now. There is no way 108 out of 115 does not prove a bias towards white men; IOW, against anyone who is not a white man. We can do the same type of calculation, for holders of political offices, like Senator or President, for example.

The first non white man to be appointed was a black man, in 1967 (Thurgood Marshall). The next was a white woman, Sandra Day O'Conner, in 1981. Then another black man, Clarence Thomas, then three more white, or at least not black, women. So, before Jackson, we'd had 108 white men, 4 basically white women (one was Puerto Rican, i.e., Hispanic) and 2 black men. Jackson is the 5th woman, the third black, and the first black woman.

To then answer your ridiculous demand to know what black woman has ever been minimized, by our society, the answer can be given in a generic sense, to be-- other than perhaps a few rich celebrities-- all of them! In fact, even Oprah has been racially profiled.
She was in a very Ritzy store, in Switzerland, I think, and not recognized (or known) by the sales person. So, when Oprah started asking about some astronomically expensive handbags, which they sell, the (white) sales lady
tried to send Oprah away to another store that was not as high-end, as her own. Do you think that saleswoman makes a habit of this? If not, why do you think she made an exception, in Oprah's case? If you do not realize that it was clearly because of her skin color, and nothing else, then any powers of deduction that you may have at one time possessed, have deserted you.

The sales lady, surely, sees few blacks in her store. But when white women ask to see merchandise, she assumes they can afford it. When black Oprah asked, the woman assumed that Ms. Winfrey could not afford it. This can only be due to that woman's negatively stilted view of the black community, being applied to every black individual, with whom she comes in contact.
    In this
same way, black women are all minimized, within our society, simply because of the preconceived notions which white society, by & large, applies to them, uniformly.

Well throughout the majority of the 115, America was incredibly racist. What's your point? When counting the justices, surely you should start counting post-civil rights act.

So some stupid lady from Switzerland?

And black parents would ALWAYS have a legitimate, non racist reason for concerns over a white doll? Here's a test: what would a NON-legitimate reason be?
