So taking classified documents into his Mar A Largo home is not a possible criminal violation? How about the obstruction of justice listed in the Mueller Report? Or the possible tax fraud scheme with his business property, all of it as Trump claimed, as a cemetery for tax breaks purposes? Or the fact that the past ten years of his financials cannot be trusted, which is a possible indicator of tax fraud. Any of these things could be the reason for the search warrant, but my bet is the classified documents at Mar A Largo.

Remember, the Republican committees cleared HRC of any wrongdoing with the server issue. Not the same thing, is it.

Well libs, if you’re successful with this assault on democracy and prevent Trump from running again, then get used to seeing DeSantis in the Oval Office in 2025. I am not a Trump fan, but even I am still hesitant that he will go to prison at all. As for the search warrant, it is for the national archives issue and nothing else. But Trump has one advantage, time. If the GOP and not Trump wins in November 2024, then the DOJ will not charge him. In 2024, they can't until after the election and if the GOP wins, the DOJ will not anyway because the charges would be crushed by the next administration in the next term. that's why.

For him to be charged and face a possible trial, the charges would need to be in 2023, not 2024.

Remember it has taken 4 years with Hunter Biden, two years under Trump Administration, and two years under Biden. they are the crucible right now and may charge him after the November midterms based on tax evasion or willful failure to pay and obstruction of justice.

That is wny I am hesitant but the actual charges are read and entered.

Interesting development. I haven’t a clue what it’s about other than the process: Judge signed off on the warrant. Given it’s the former President that’s one hell of a bar the FBI cleared to obtain the warrant.

Exercising patience on this is going to be to challenge given the current landscape: instant gratification isn’t quick enough. And the post truth MAGA crowd and many Republican Senators and Representatives will be in full rabbit hole mode.

It’s official. I am now going to vote for Trump for sure. I am not a fan of him but he’s better than Biden and if we are going to persecute those who are not life long politicians because we don’t like their politics you can count my vote against the establishment.
