The FBI has been investigating Hillary's emails for months.

Trump has no more proof that she committed a crime.

 

Was it legal for Hillary to have clandestine server in her bathroom of her home with thousands of classified documents, a good portion of which ended up on Anthony Weiner's phone that he was using to sext underage girls? Were either of them subjected to a unannounced FBI raid that ransacked their homes? No. They are part of the privileged connected gentry, that views Trump and the GOP as "Others".

The OP says they were searching for classified documents. Trump had inherent declassification authority, he declassified any documents he has in his possession. You claim that Trump is required to follow an imposed process in order to declassify. Imposed by who? Congress is a separate branch of government with differing enumerated powers than the President. Show me where Congress has the power to impose a declassification process on the President of the United States.

The ruling in the 1988 Supreme Court case Department of Navy vs. Egan:

"The President, after all, is the ‘Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States’" according to Article II of the Constitution. His authority to classify and control access to information bearing on national security flows primarily from this constitutional investment of power in the President, and exists quite apart from any explicit congressional grant."

How out in left field does one have to be that thinks our constitution says one is guilty before charges are even filed, even after years and years of high-level investigations. Then why haven't you turned yourself in? If you started reading laws and tax codes and lived to be 1000, you would still break laws without knowing it. I completely understand the dislike for trump and efforts to avoid running against him. While trump has the resources to defend himself, the average citizen must choose between bankruptcy and a plea deal.

This is just the first time he is being held accountable in large part because they couldn't charge him with anything while in office.

We don't know the contents of the affidavit supporting the warrant. We do know the FBI has lied before to obtain a warrant to go after Trump. One agent was found guilty of doing so.

If one was dishonest in the pursuit of Trump and his associates I don't know why we should trust them now. Give me something to grab ahold of to restore my trust other than saying -- because.

And we do know this would have required the highest bar for any judge to approve this.
