    Battles are the number of times the Russians and Ukrainians have come into armed conflict with each other, resulting in the Ukrainians losing every fight. And your definition?

    You don’t have to be Putin or a general to know what the Russians want. When you figure that out you’ll know why they’re creating a buffer zone in the east. Perhaps I just know more than you? :)

    Some of the posts I see as bordering on the comical. This distancing from reality also occurred during the Covid times, from the climate change fanatics and previous to that, the ice caps melting and flooding the world crowd. There’s a world of difference between hoping Ukraine wins to it is winning. This is your tin foil hat people in action.

    From ‘sub humans’ which is a left over from the 1930/40s, to ‘monster’ which did the rounds in the Middle East to ‘the Ukrainians fired missiles at the advancing Russians’ which provokes the answer, ‘Yes, and?’ The low level indoctrinated beliefs are shocking.

    Ruzzkies still fear Nazis as if they were still a threat today. But Ruzzkies worship a blatant fascist who imitates Hitler. Comrade Pooteen invaded Ukraine like Hitler invaded Austria, with the same motive to bring lost territory "home to the Reich".

    The Austrians didn't defend themselves back then. But today's Ukrainians are resisting by any means. They know history and know what they'll lose if they let a fascist leader get a grip on their country.

    Poteen's "Z" is Hitler's swastika. There are sometimes parallels in history. :(

    Nope! I didn't forget any relevant information, but thank you for mentioning Russian propaganda, so let me explain non Russian view on Ukraine. Right wing, fascist organizations are in every country, Russia, Ukraine, US and other countries. In 2014 in Ukraine there was a fight between pro Russia and pro Western factions. CIA and Western countries supported pro Western faction and FSB (new KGB) supported pro Russia faction and kleptoktrat president Yanukovych. Pro Russian faction lost, probably because they used typical KGB methods, they started to shoot on demonstrations.

    And about WWII. Russia signed pact with Nazi Germany how to attack and divide Poland. Germany attacked Poland on Sept 1, 1939 and occupied western Poland, Russia attacked Poland on Sept 17, 1939 and occupied eastern Poland.
    After occupation Russia expelled thousands of Poles to the middle of Russia without any food supplies, thousand of Poles died. In eastern Poland thousands of Poles were arrested and after Germany attacked Russia, Russians killed thousands of prisioners.
    Try to learn history not only from Russian sources.

    Yep, it is possible. Russia tried to kill Zelensky in the beginning of war, failed, so it is logical they will try different means.

    If they stop fighting, then they would have really lost. :(
