    I support the child tax credit what does this have to do with me? I would support taking that 100 or so billion dollars spent on illegal immigrants and using it to be able to expand the child tax credit for American families even further. I don't feel like doing the math right now, but take the hundred billion dollars spent on illegals and increase the $250/$300 per month for families to whatever new refund it would be with that amount of tax money back in our system and I'd support it 100%.

    I have no problem with the government helping ease the burden on American families raising American children.

    Then vote for people who would at least consider attempting to solve problems when in elected office.... no guarantees, but the alternative is today's GOP...

    Ok, I read that the people in Martha's Vineyard have rushed in to help and would be providing help. Isn't that what was promised? You guys have said that these migrants come here for jobs and I'm sure that there are plenty of jobs there. Plenty of help. I'm not seeing the lie. This is what Dems have been telling us all along. Let them in and we will help. So now help.

    I wonder how YOU would feel if YOU were in a foreign country in dire straits, and instead of helping you a politician would ship you around the country to use YOU in their cynical political game, using human beings as pawns. Oh, I know, one common character trait of the extreme right is that they have difficulties putting themselves in someone else's shoes, especially of the people they deem inferior or sub-human.

    They have to see them now. Since LSM stopped covering the border when Biden was elected Democrats have chosen to now be ignorant on the border crisis.

    What are you talking about?

    They were flown to "their backyard" and the people stepped up to help.

    Now they are being housed at a military base and they are looking at temporary housing options in Cape Cod.

    They did and are doing the exact opposite of what your saying. Kudos.

    Democratic states should have been offering their help since forever now. It really is do bad this was forced on them. Luckily for the immigrants MSM is covering this. Where has LSM been on the border crisis since Trump left office? LSM had coverage on this constantly when Trump was president. Now they are nowhere near the border. As Harris said, what border crisis?

    Good Grief, Florida earmarked $12 million earlier this year for the entire relocation program, not just this one flight. lol

    Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said the flights to Martha’s Vineyard were part of an effort to “transport illegal immigrants to sanctuary destinations.” The Florida Legislature has earmarked $12 million to transport “unauthorized aliens” out of state.

    Excellent. This shows that the people in Martha's Vineyard are willing to actually step up and help illegal immigrants and help provide services for them when they show up in the US. Now communities in States like Arizona, Florida, Texas, etc know they have a community up north willing to help ease the burden of their overwhelmed services down south.

    Continue sending folks there. Other States need to adopt such a policy as well. We are one country and individual states are not allowed to deport illegal immigrants. So either we change the laws to allow states the authority to deport people or we all as a collective country need to share the burden of dealing with the crisis that illegal immigration is causing the US as a whole.

    Give it a rest and let your heart bleed somewhere else. The illegals came here looking for handouts and freebies and that's what they're getting. They are in no position to demand or expect anything, they'll get what we give them and they'll like it. If they do not like it, they can get on their smart phones with the international calling plan and make arrangements to go back where they came from and be reunited with their families. We have Americans who are in worse situations than they are, why should these people or you expect them to be entitled to come before them?

    You know what? Do what they did but do it in the countries they came from and see how that all works out.
