    do the crime, do the time, the Jury has spoken... Guilty

    it's sad to see people toss their lives away over something like this, but actions have consequences

    No, it never ok to kill anyone unless it is in self-defense.
    AB got herself killed for no good reason.
    No politician is worthy of getting oneself killed over.
    Especially someone like Trump.

    I agree the jail times seem to be on the lighter side. This week the insurrectionists go on trial, hopefully they get 20 yrs.

    This is a pretty sloppy article. It doesn't list all of the charges or what evidence was presented. These hearings are definitely political persecutions.

    Just take a look at the attention given to a few hundred who were arrested while it is said about 120,000 showed up to the protest. That's the story yet the lefty media and others want to bury the fact there was massive election fraud by democrats.

    Just keep in mind there were thousands of protestors in DC on Jan 6 yet the leftists and media want to focus on a few hundred that got out of hand. Some want to use the words "insurrection" or "riot" to try and paint the many thousands of protestors as being bad.

    Many folks have concerns over the 2020 election that have gone unaddressed. The stories have been buried even here on this forum. Meaningful discussion has been suppressed. This may not turn out well for democrats.

    Old style Progressive Liberals did not believe 'actions have consequences'.

    Modern-day Progressives seem to have tossed that older-style thinking out the window and now believe actions have consequences, if you're not one of them.

    The most important part of the article is that out of the 850+ people arrested, most of whom charged with misdemeanors might I add, only 9 have gone to trial. WHAT? The incident is all of two years old, whatever happened to that fast and speedy trial thing? The next AG has a lot to clean up in the DOJ, but primarily the politicization of the department.
