Mystery leaks (sabotage) hit Russian (Nordstream 1 and 2) undersea gas pipelines to Europe

Just when you thought the Biden administration couldn't get any more idiotic....they one up their latest **** up.

What a demented son of a bitch. So let me get this straight. You blow holes in both Nordstream 1 pipelines and for good measure, you blow a hole in the un-used brand new Nordstream 2 pipeline.....and they think nobody is gonna figure out it's the US military???

I suppose the big brains in Biden's cabinet think the best way to keep from Germany capitulating is just to totally **** them over. Yeah, take that Russia! If I was German, I would consider this an attack on Germany, and by extension, the EU.

Hopefully with the EU collapse it takes NATO with it.

"European countries on Tuesday raced to investigate unexplained leaks in two Russian gas pipelines running under the Baltic Sea near Sweden and Denmark, infrastructure at the heart of an energy crisis since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Experts and also Russia, which built the network, said the possibility of sabotage could not be ruled out.

Sweden’s Maritime Authority issued a warning about two leaks in the Nord Stream 1 pipeline, shortly after a leak on the nearby Nord Stream 2 pipeline was discovered that had prompted Denmark to restrict shipping in a five nautical mile radius."

 

The libs are nuts alright, but to blame them for punching holes in that pipeline is as credible as a Martian invasion of Hoboken.

 

It's fine if you want to blame a US president for US infrastructure crumbling, but Russia's infrastructure crumbling is all on Vlad and his band of oligarchs.

 

All on Vlad? If Russia wants to turn the gas off, they just need to turn some valves. If America wants the gas off, a torpedo comes to mind. The first option meant the EU might be screwed, the second option ensures the EU is screwed.

Hydrocarbons most certainly are for the Russian government. You are right that Russia now doesn't make any money from natural gas sales and has no alternative markets either. They'd need an LNG facility and a fleet of specialized LNG tankers none of which Russia actually has.

New Polish gas pipeline from Norway to reach full capacity ahead of schedule

Poland’s new pipeline bringing Norwegian gas via Denmark and through the Baltic Sea – which is due to open this week – will be able to transport up to twice as much gas as previously planned this year due to the faster-than-expected progress of work.

The Baltic Pipe, which is seen as a key element in Poland’s diversification away from Russian energy sources, is due to begin transporting gas this Saturday, 1 October, with an initial capacity equivalent to 2-3 billion cubic metres (bmc) per year.

It was then expected to reach its full capacity of 10 bcm of gas per year at the start of 2023. However, on Saturday Danish gas system operator Energinet announced that work “is progressing so well” that full capacity is due to be reached by the end of November this year.

The ones who wanted to sabotage Nordstream for years so they could profit from LNG gas, was Poland and Lithuania, but I doubt they would do it nor do I think they are able to do it.

The most adamant against the Russian pipelines was Ukraine, since their mafia bosses would lose billions from the pipelines that run through Ukraine. When one considers Ukraine's past actions and its revenge assassinations, as well as the use of white phosphorous on the residents of Slaviansk; shooting down the airliner in Ukraine in an attempted assassination of Putin, and the burning and hacking of Russian protesters in Odessa, the Ukrainian mafia would be the first one I'd point a finger at.

It's not an easy thing to sabotage gas pipelines under water, so whoever did it used experts from a country that is well versed in underwater tactics. I have my suspicions and it's not the US.
