Wannabe Czar Vlad the Incompetent can unilaterally make it stop at any time by submitting to international law and withdrawing from Ukraine. His pain - and that of the Soviet Russian people is entirely self-inflicted... 1584414804.9904-smiley.gif

Ukrainians are right on the front line, and they are determined to re-take their nation. Supporting that is not 'fun and games', it is 'moral and right'.

More likely he knows his regime will end after he is defeated.

All the more why Putin won't hesitate to use nuclear weapons.

Then Russia will cease to exist. Putin is a liar and a coward but he also doesn't want to destroy his own country. Ergo, no, he won't because he knows M.A.D. remains in effect.

Putin doesn't care! Putin is a stone cold psychopathic killer.

Vladimir Putin & 1999 Russian Apartment-House Bombings -- Was Putin Responsible?

    David Satter

I believe that Vladimir Putin came to power as the result of an act of terror committed against his own people. The evidence is overwhelming that the apartment-house bombings in 1999 in Moscow, Buinaksk, and Volgodonsk, which provided a pretext for the second Chechen war and catapulted Putin into the presidency, were carried out by the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB). Yet, to this day, an indifferent world has made little attempt to grasp the significance of what was the greatest political provocation since the burning of the Reichstag.

He and his country agreed to international law.

Nobody is after Russia. The west doesn't want it. The problem Russia has as well as every other ****ing authoritarian nation is that the threat of democracy becoming more influential and enticing for its populace is their major concern.

Where someone like Putin wouldn't be able to stay in power for 20 gd years for their own personal gain and vision.

Right and NATO agreed not to get involved with non-NATO countries, or countries that pose no threat to NATO countries yet in 1999 NATO invaded Yugoslavia which was not a NATO country at the time and posed no threat to NATO countries. For the last 24 years Putin has watched as NATO keeps creeping closer to Russia's border. So why should Putin think the US?NATO is not interested in destroying Russia?

Putin will destroy his own country if it means keeping the West from destroying his homeland first. The first thing he will destroy is the energy infrastructure which we know the West desperately needs. You really don't understand how Putin thinks or Russian doctrine regarding the use of nuclear weapons dating back to the Soviet Union. M.A.D. is doctrine that puts the US in a defensive mode. The US will suffer greatly before Russia does. Putin has had 22 years to prepare for this event and is far more likely to survive a nuclear holocaust than the West. So don't put too much faith in a doctrine that Putin believes is a joke on the West.
