    HYPERLINK has full article

    snip

Your Thanksgiving meal with all the fixings is expected to cost 20% more than last year as a result of painfully high inflation.

That's according to a new study from the American Farm Bureau Federation, which showed that a feast for 10 with 12 menu items will cost $64.05 on average this year – up from $53.31 in 2021. Per person, that would cost about $6.50.

It will be the most expensive dinner since the holiday survey launched 37 years ago.

    end snip

And so it goes and so it goes. It costs more to drive to the family get together and the food costs more. The energy to keep you warm as you sip egg nog costs more.

It is my sincerest hope that current admin will see the error of their ways and stop their harmful, Democrat policies

And as an aside, i don't care what it costs, I'm having pecan pie

Thankfully republicans have learned their lesson after an awful midterms and have signaled they will introduce a ton of legislation that will help this… oh wait, they didn’t? And instead are going to be wanting to cut social security and have another investigation of a private citizen in hopes they can attach it to the president?

    Carry on cons

In other words, the cost is just passed on which is normal in the world of economics. I'm not sure why you seem surprised. Though perhaps you should be asking why the increase is higher than inflation instead of trying to blame a government

I'm also not sure why you think that a feast for under $7 is so expensive. No doubt the price is that low because most of that food must have been imported

They did fine. They won back the House. Plenty of races were frauded away from them once again.

The RNC club wishes to cause massive inflation just as much as the DNC club wishes to. They both hate the working class citizenry. That's where the working class MAGA movement enters in. Inflation was only about 1-2% under Trump's term, ya know... :)

A perennial lie from the DNC club.

You are describing Democrats, once again.

Another person who doesn't understand the difference between inflation and price increases, and what Democrats have currently been doing to make both of those things increasingly worse.

I got my usual free turkey and some other things on sale

However, I know that some items are up 50%+ from a few years ago.

I shop at Aldi/Lidl a lot more now because of much food has increased

    Let's Look into this:
That's according to a new study from the American Farm Bureau Federation, which showed that a feast for 10 with 12 menu items will cost $64.05 on average this year – up from $53.31 in 2021. Per person, that would cost about $6.50.
It will be the most expensive dinner since the holiday survey launched 37 years ago. The shopping list includes turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, rolls with butter, peas, cranberries, a veggie tray, pumpkin pie with whipped cream, and coffee and milk
    ___________

    To Recap:
    LAST YEAR (2021) $53.31
    THIS YEAR (2022) $64.05
    INCREASE = $10.74
    Conclusion:
IF $10.74 is going to make or break your financial situation...
THEN There are Much Worse Problems in your life...
    ...than freaking out over...
A Faux News "Bummer/Inflation Bad" Article...

these next two years are gonna be hard years for Americans due to supply issues, republicans winning the House means they now have to be part of the solution or they get part of the blame, so winning the House may be a double-edged sword for them as they can no longer just 'blame' democrats for all the worlds supply issues

No need for a new one if the old one is still occurring.

try the war on fossil fuels waged by the Democrat party. Look at energy prices just weeks after full Democrat control in 2021

When energy prices rise, so too does everything else. Democrat votes have consequences; more expensive Thanksgiving is one of them
