Joe Biden has declared himself blameless in the debt crisis, says "I've done my part".

Yes, Joe, you have done your part in creating it, but denying what you have done does not make you blameless- it makes you irresponsible and false.

Joe feels the fault lies in the failure of Congress to raise the limits. Joe, your credit card was maxed, but you kept on charging. What the hell did you expect? That the people paying the bills you create, many of whom aren't even born yet would simply cover your ass without a word?

That is exactly what Joe and the Democrats expect of us. Shut up, pay our bills.

I searched and searched for your comments about previous Presidents who also had debt ceilings raised. They don’t exist oddly enough, Why is that?

 

Clearly, to the MAGA folks , history started with the Biden administration. Oh wait ……..

 

It's not like the previous president, who you surely voted for, exploded the deficit from $600 billion to $1 trillion EVEN BEFORE covid, and when the GOP controlled all branches of government. But, then, your side claimed that tax cuts would pay for themselves and you cheered him on.

Now, you claim that Democrats created this problem. Pardon me, but that dog won't hunt.

The reality is that both parties created the problem. One by taxing and spending, the other one by not taxing and spending. Somehow, however, the GOP ONLY starts to be fiscally conservative when a Dem is in the WH. Why could that be? Oh, we all know why, and you know it too. Of course, you'd never admit it.

 

The left is so entrenched in their agenda, they arrogantly can't fathom that there is anyway any negative repercussions or consequences.

It's easier just to blame others why their ideological values continue to fail in reality.

 

There is not a single word Biden can say that you can trust. In the below link Biden Tweets a whooper of a lie, he typed it out so nothing can be blamed on his stuttering, and the Washington Post gave it bottomless Pinocchios.

Several reasons. One is that the deficit that has been created this time is monumental, a record setter.
Another is that failing to call a halt to such a policy sets a precedent that will allow it to become SOP, and one hell of a lot harder to stand up to next time.
The next is- that enough is enough. The people are paying the bills; we deserve some fiscal responsibility from our elected officials.
IF you fail to demand responsibility- you will never get it.

Ask yourself how far you want the overspending to go before you say enough is enough. Unless you are a fool- and I do not assume that- you will come to that point somewhere along the line.
The difference between where you call it and I call it answers your question.

Why should Biden agree to the House GOP's spending cutting plans, which has the aim to get the GOP back in full power by hurting the economy, only for the next GOP president with control of Congress to push through another tax cut and explode the deficit again? You know it has happened before. i.e. Obama followed by Trump.
